- Finally Nordschleife is here! Decided to take the Ferrari 296 as a first spin around the track and managed this laptime in the LFM Hotlap server. Singeplayer hotlap is around a second quicker so I am quite happy with the lap. Still a lot more time to find as this was pretty much my 2nd day ever on this track driving, enjoy! Basically it's 08:03.8, because the GT track shortcut is slower than the last corner.

I am wondering how fast these guys can downshift in the braking zones. My Fanatec Formula Racing Wheel does not accept two immediate downshifts so I have to wait a little bit for the next shift what really hurts the laptime.
Feels weird to me. Maybe you downshift too soon? If you start downshifting too soom your rpm might be a bit too high and the car for preserving the engine won't allow you to downshift.
its not about the wheel its about the car whit the ferrari u can downshit super fast as example whit the bmw u need to wait much longer

I see you use higher gear with lower rpm (around 5k) at many corner exits. Will the higher gear with low rpm gain some benefit than the lower gear with high rpm?
Stability and the traction control does not activate that much. The Ferrari 296 has probably the best TC in ACC, but if the TC activates you still lose a little bit more time due to the engine cut. TC in ACC is shit since the 1.9 Update last year

@@haven6307 you're welcome. Overall you can say that lower TC is faster than higher TC at ACC, but therefore you need to keep it clean.
I am struggling to find the last 15 second i am around 8:21 and dont know how to improve can you maybe share the setup?
2:38 i can NOT get through this turn flat out i dont understand lmao i use Coach Dave setups and tried a few different ones and have to lift or sometimes even tap brake to get through it. Im at about 8:15-8:20 and i know its bc of my setups for the straights but cant figure it out. Car feels perfect except a few corners where it feels very understeery and those are the corners slowin me down.
It's the setup. The fastest Wing setting is 9 or 10. Then everything really really soft with a lot of front bumpstop range and quite little rear bumpstop range. Put in some negative rear toe, maximum camber front+back and you can do Flugplatz flat-out if you have less than 60L in the car. However, I personally need TC 7, ABS 3, BB 59.4 when using such a setup.
