HI MY BUTTERFLIES 🦋 🦋 🦋 I would love to know what you think of this colour AND if you have any other questions about this wig, please let me know in the comments and I will be sure to answer them! 💕
I searched for a while too before I finally gave up and decided to try and see how it would turn out. So happy it turned out well. From what I’ve seen, I think this method of applying it directly to the hair makes the colour look richer. Let me know how it works out for you if you decide to try this method ! 😊
So glad I came across this video. The wig I have now is the same color as yours but I can't find the color anymore so I decided to do it myself. We'll see.
I'm of the Caucasian persuasion, and I love adore hair color. It doesn't fade as quickly as other demi-perm brands like Manic Panic or Arctic Fox. It lasts a really long time, even on my baby fine hair.
That’s great to know! This was my first time using Adore and I can say from a couple of washes so far that it has not faded much. I’m looking to try a new colour very soon! Any suggestions?
I’m so glad you love the colour! As for dying this on a platinum blonde wig, from personal experience and from what I’ve seen others do on TH-cam, it may come out brighter than mine if dying it from such a light colour already. Some parts of my wig did not take well to the bleach and I think that added some darkness to the colour. I would probably suggest not using any of the French Cognac and only using Cinnamon as the Cinnamon is a bit darker than the French Cognac. Hope that helps! Would love to see your look if you decide to do this! Let me know if you have any other questions 😊
I’m going to dye my wig this color. It already has this cinnamon color in it but they highlights are so choppy. I got it from UNice and the wig doesn’t not match the pictures. Going to the hair store asap and I’m glad I don’t have to bleach my wig
I’m so happy you found this video helpful! I’ve also ordered from Unice in the past and I did not have a good experience. I hope your wig turns out just the way you want it. 🤎
@@jhanellejackson yes it was my first time ordering from them I bought the dye today and I bought some 613 bundles to add to the wig because it’s so thin omg. Thanks again!!
That smoking of the hair happened to me on human hair. I was a stylist for many years and I was bleaching a clients hair. I had the hair in foils. About 15minutes after applying bleach, smoke starting coming from the hair. I immediately took her to the sink and washed out the bleach as fast as possible. Though it didnt cause any damage I was completely terrified as you can imagine. Im sure she was as well. Sometimes people that use well water or very hard water in their homes end up having a build up of metals and minerals from that specific water in their hair. Metal and bleach DO NOT MIX. So just because that hair was smoking doesn't necessarily mean it was fake. It very well could have been. But Im just saying I had this happen on a human being so idk.
Thank you for sharing. That must have been a terrifying moment for the both of you. For this wig in particular, considering that a lot of the strands didn’t bleach at all and some strands literally recoiled like rubber bands, I couldn’t help but conclude that the company I bought the hair from added in plastic strands. I’ve seen it in other wigs that claim to be 100% human hair as well, unfortunately. Thankfully, I have recently found a vendor who I buy from personally and this is no longer a problem for me. I hope you enjoyed the video 😊
Hey! Thank you for reaching out. I have some questions. Is the hair burnt orange from bleaching it? If so, does the burnt orange look similar to how my wig did after I bleached mine? If so, you could proceed with the dyes I used to get your desired look.
It coats the hair to lock in moisture. I like to add it while the hair is still wet, so I can lock it the moisture from the water. I’ve revived a lot of old and dry wigs using silicon mix
Hey! I would probably use the French Cognac and Cinnamon Adore dye to get it closer to a 1b/30. If you want it a bit darker, add a tiny bit of mocha to it.
Hello🤎 I used Clairol BW 2 bleaching powder with Clairol 40 volume developer. The higher number you use in the volume developer will determine how light the hair lifts and how fast. If you are doing this for the first time I might suggest using 20 or 30 volume developer and letting it sit longer.
You can definitely use the dye in your own hair as it is semi permanent so it’s very safe. I’ve never used it in my own hair before so I don’t know exactly how long you should leave it in, but there are a lot of videos on YT that have people dying their natural hair with this dye. They will give you a more accurate answer 🥰
It’s definitely easier to do that. Keep in mind the colour will appear lighter than the colour I achieved in the video. 613 is a much lighter blonde than bleaching a dark wig and lifting that colour. When you bleach, you can control what kind of blonde you want as the base before you dye it. I wanted a darker copper colour to blend well with my skin tone so I chose to bleach dark hair instead of getting 613. But yes, lol that would be a much easier process if that’s what you want to do. 🤎🙂

Gorgeous hair. I bought these two colors without knowing exactly what I was going to get. Can this look be accomplished without bleaching?
I have been searching for hours to find a video with someone using adore without using the water colour method thank you!!!

Please can you list the dye names with their numbers for us please?
Thank you.

Please I have one burnt orange, want to turn it to this colour.. do I need to lift it again? Or just proceed with cinnamon dye? Thank you

This is really accurate 👍🏻

@@jhanellejackson hey I was wondering on natural hair do you need two bottles of each
What color from adore did you use
I used Cinnamon and French cognac.
I bought weave and they sent color 1b/27 what can I use to dye it to 1b/30

Bleach on a wig overnight😮
Hey! As I said in my video, I left the bleach in for 30-40 mins.
I did however, leave the wig overnight to soak in conditioner😊
