  • Basic overview of a simple patio project. Used the Quikcrete Walk Maker country stone form to make a 133 sqft patio. Stained the concrete using Eagle acid stain, and sealed it with Behr wet-look sealer. Project cost around $500.

Very helpful, and I do this years ago and put it right on the ground. I leveled the dirt ,and pushed it in, it self levels I poured dry fine cement on top, hit it with a spray water light . And it has been my horse wash rack for years. I love it.

Hi Pamela, this stamp only allows the concrete to be 2” thick mainly meant for walkways, paths, etc. Four inches thick is standard for passenger cars to drive on. For heavier vehicles, a thickness of five inches is recommended. I hope this helps. 👍🏼

I just made a stone path using pavers around my raised garden beds. But I used real paver stones, leveling sand and the same type of hardening filler when I was done. If it takes an 80 lb bag of quickcrete, I don't see how it saves money? My 16x16 pavers were only about $6.50 apiece. How large were your molds?

I didnt stain or seal any of my projects just kept to concrete color and it turned out great and it out lasted me as a sold after 12 years for a bigger yard. Loved that you could take your time and as a budget could afford that sure was a bonus for me at the time. I actually still have the original "country style" mold hanging up in my garden shed & its as good as new-sturdy as ever!! Great job your patio looks fantastic stained & sealed- well worth the effort 😊
