I’ve been using this all these while hahaha once you get used to using LY, you’ll do this naturally. The burst dmg from this combo is insane
At first for me it was very hard but when time passed by I was doing it naturally, unless in teamfights I just spam to deal damage

Luo Yi is very strong in late game! with the normal burst build she can literally oneshot a MM.

People need to learn that this combo sucks..as a Luo Yi main this is only useful in the laning phase.
The cons of doing this combo:
-you will miss ur attacks in team fights
-this is unnecessary when doing an ambush
-you can't save ur teammates by the time ur doing the combo
-meta are mobile heroes so Luo Yi will have a hard time doing this combo
-you won't gain shield from passive because of these combo
-this combo will not synergy well with setter tanks as they only average time set combo is 1-2 seconds as for luo yi takes 3-4 seconds depends on cd doing the combo

I'm not a Luo main but I figured this trick out pretty fast after using her a couple games. When my friends play Luo its so painful watching them not do it game after game

She's really a good mage that deals decent damage, just watch out for your positioning like any other mages.
Decent? Even at level 2 she can eat 3/4 of enemy mage at mid.
I've been doing this alot naturally especially on brawl but I never expected that this trick is only known by few players.

been using this trick since day one and its one of the best trick ever if u r using luo yi, its easy to mastered too!!
I love doing this trick, been doing this as soon as I started to play luo yi, this trick allows u to get first blood in no time and startled the enemy quite a bit. The enemy would be very confused at that point. I usually use flame shot for early first blood if I can’t finish them off but you can use flicker on her, what ever floats your boat.
It can trigger without the 2nd skill . You can use this right from the start when you're not level 2 yet . Hit different enemies with the 1st skill and then when they're close to each other the yin yang effect will trigger . This can be your advantage at the litho wanderer clash

Not sure if this can be called a trick cos like everyone have been doing this. But depends on situation also. Sometimes u can miss a kill because u force urself to do the trick. While throwing away the first skill, enemy can get away alrdy.

@@depressionfighter8450 yeah there is a time and place to use it, and for me that is when I am poking. Not every engagement should you do it. If ur tank has made a set just blast ur skills at the enemy, no need to waste skills.

Pls do brust build to use for her. I feel the way of playing lou yi has faded from me. Every time I play her a assassin is on my nuts and enemies are very mobile and tank is missing in our team or is incompatible with luo like franco. This video gave inspiration to play lou yi now.
I uses this very now and then, but i mostly do the normal combo, especially if enemies have high mobility skill. Tho i highly recommend learning to this combo for ly beginners, this combo is really helpful especially in spawn fights
Valir : "I deal lotz of dmg in early game and my dmg weakens if enemy have Radiant"
Cecilion : "I can only deal lotz of dmg in late game and i'm weak in early"
Luo yi : "I have no such weaknesses"

Used to do it because it takes a lot of set up so I decided it's better to trigger the reaction immediately.

So horroro learned it now ive been using it for ages.
You can trigger the passive without using the 2nd skill(I can say base on my experience)when two enemies have different color mark of your first skill and they go near to each other the passive will be trigger.
Actually, I like to pick Luo Yi when enemy pick Estes. Basically a counter. Could work with other heroes like against Tigreal, cuz after he ult, enemies will flock for a kill. Combo with Vale is basically an auto delete, if you're lucky, you'll get to trigger 3 stun.
My trick is doing the double stun combo on tanky enemy/ early game where your dmg is still not enough to 1 shot while using normal combo in lategame for assasin/mm/supp

This trick is pretty hard to do in real matches tbh, especially when the targets are moving around. I prefer to use this trick when there's a bunch of minions or when the enemies are stacked on top of each other so that not only can I aim it easily but also I can hit multiple enemies at once
You’re not wrong, enemy minions are really luo yi’s friends. I love minions so much they help a lot with the combo.
It's super easy to do, what are you on about? Unless you are one of those fools who always uses second skill first even after a hundred games with Luo.
Just spray them with the first skill, waste the next first skill to get the original colour back, trap them with the second skill and use first skill towards the centre of your second skill and easy double stuns.
Applying the markers with the first skill is the hardest part, pulling them together with second skill is easy if they already have markers on them.

@@denial9075 "use first skill towards the centre of your second skill and easy double stuns" that's the hard part, I miss 75% of the second time I cast my first skill tho I'm not sure of the reason, maybe because the enemies are moving, or that the enemies are too far away, or maybe I'm just not quick enough. Pretty sure I can get the hang of it once I have enough practice so no big deal
@@sultanelshirazy8229 The enemies aren't moving though. You just grouped and stunned them... and when you grouped them with the second skill they get pulled into range anyways...
In early game, I always prioritize arcane boots and genius wand first so that I can deal a massive damage to the enemy.

I was doing this always. Plus if ever you have a decent allied tank all else would be good.
Actually the real advantage of this combo is shorter duration (thus shorter respond time) between the passives, the dmg is actually negligibly lower consider that you actually throw your 2nd cast of first skill into the air.
That's how I always get my first blood using her
But really, it's only good at surprising enemies

IDK about other Luo Yi users but I really like IQW on her. I loved to see enemies struggle to get away. 😂
This is why Luo Yi ultimate is teleport. Imagine if her third skill/ultimate pull and damage enemy with yin yang cast simultaneously.
Or worst, teleport enemy into our base turret and one shot by it.
