People refuse to move from mokoko because of economic reasons. Story is the same as Mumbai’s Dharavi slum. Unless people’s livelihoods are assured elsewhere, they will refuse to move. Despite such hard conditions in mokoko, one heartening aspect is the presence of schools everywhere. Plus the smiles on people’s faces.

The first sign of slight hostility came from the lady sitting outside the school and from what i assume was a teacher inside the school, good lady's for being weary and protective of those beautiful children, very proud of those mama bears. Not only residential houses- schools stalls bank hospital business area everything in floating condition. (There are floating markets in many places but not any other thing is included).
