Paralysis is a condition in which a patient becomes unable to move their neck or heart. It usually occurs due to loss of muscle movement in the body occurred due to a brain stroke. As we all know, a patient needs to work on the brain to restart the muscle movements, but they should also keep in mind that along with medicines that work on the mind, the patient needs to follow a proper diet plan as diet is equally essential recovery. Therefore, at SRIAAS, we usually advise patients to change their diet plan during our treatment, which is similarly vital for their recovery.
Brain stroke occurs due to a brain clot or brain hemorrhage. A brain clot usually forms a lump in the brain, which restricts the address to do their normal function, while in brain hemorrhage, a nerve gets ruptured. It causes damage to the brain its cells. Our brain has a new natural healing process known as neuroplasticity. This neuroplasticity helps in recovery within the initial months of that injury, but after six months, this neuroplasticity slows down, which further stops the patient's recovery. When this neuroplasticity stops patient becomes unable to do their muscle movement.
Along with it, if a body deficiency of protein, it becomes unable for the body to heal the wounds or the injury. Therefore, we advise every paralysis patient to take a proper protein diet for fast recovery. The patient needs to avoid oil and ghee and instead take a protein-rich diet. When the patient eats only bottle gourd, ridged gourd, and tinda, eating these will only increase weakness in the paralysis patients. We advise the patient to have milk, egg, pulses, and non-veg. Not only protein but patients are also advised to take vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Service stations can take vitamin B12 and vitamin d in the form of medicine and injections as well, but they're also advised to take food that is rich in vitamin D and vitamin 12. Patients are advised to eat fish chicken eggs as they are high in vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Patients must also make sure that they must go for a vitamin B12 test before consuming it. Patients getting treatment from SRIAAS are advised to avoid sour fruits or vegetables such as mango, orange, kinu, Lemon, etc. Patients can also take pulses, eggs, chapatis, and rice (diabetes patients are advised to avoid rice).
The patient must also make sure not to eat tomato vegetables, though they can use it in other vegetables but consume only tomato vegetables is restricted. Patients also ask about tea and coffee, and for that, we advise patients to take tea and coffee, but they should make sure not to consume them instantly before or after food.
