I'm not a fan of his but it seemed like he had to fight to get in a word edgewise a decent bit of the time cuz Maria tended to talk both a lot and over him at times. Seemed like she may have been a lil nervous and trying too hard. The big problem was that they were both doing play-by-play instead of having the usual two-person broadcast booth format of one person doing play-by-play and the other filling in the gaps with color commentary.
Warning- The gladiators and contestants are highly trained athletes and have a lifetime of experience, but they are not invincible. Bodies have been broken, necks broken, concussions inflicted, and careers ended in an instant. Although it is entertainment, the hazards are real, and the contestants and gladiators take real risks, endure unimaginable pain, and put their bodies, their careers, and their lives on the line. Don't risk yours! Be Smart! Be Safe! PLEASE DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, SCHOOL OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
Do you really need to repeat this in any episode involving American Gladiators? Kids who watch these videos already know not to imitate the events. They're not that stupid. The kids in this show, like in Nickelodeon's GUTS, are supervised by trained professionals and have proper safety gear on.
@jeremyriley1238 Don't get me wrong, but I post it not only because people actually tried these events at home, school or anywhere and got seriously injured by that, but safety reasons and liability reasons to say that we will not be responsible for any injuries, property damage, or death caused by people choosing to do any of the events seen on the show, because they're those who choose to ignore the fact that this is incredibly dangerous.
Good show with great info, but the kids are sort of at a disadvantage when it comes to the bonus trivia. Come on, they just played a strenuous physical game and you honestly expect them to give what's basically an essay at the end? Okay, sticking with a multiple-choice format probably wouldn't have been seen as hard work, but there's a good reason they dropped the questions from "Gladiators: Train 2 Win" in the UK during the 2nd season. (10 minutes later...) See, that's the type of question they ought to have used in both halves! Short rote answers easily identified and recalled, not long strings of text.
Remember that it takes quite a while to set up the events (probably did 2 or 3 shows simultaneously), so there's plenty of rest time before the bonus questions.

@@corduerorose9747 Siren took her own life and Hawk died of some medical issues, maybe a heart attack. Not sure. 🙁
@@davidmenke7552 If a heart attack is the case, it could have been because of steroids (as some of the Gladiators were known to be using that stuff).
@@davidmenke7552 Lee Reherman's cause of death was not definitively known. He passed just several weeks after undergoing hip surgery.
Imagine if they actually revived this with the Gladiators from the 2008 revival. It would be like this.
