Hi paul : TH-cam got me to watch some of your episodes and i like it. Garbage collection is organised different in my town so i would not find as much as you do , Large items can be dropt at a recycling area from the city , fridges can not go to the scrapyard and most company's that sell household appliance take the old machines back in their delivery-truck , so i carry a knive and a pair of cutters and try to find copper and aluminum that will fit in my trunk. Years ago i drove a small truck for an airfreight company and at collected lots of pallets for witch my own company would pay me because lots of airfreight would not be on pallets. Liked and subed

Just want to say that I really appreciate, and I am proud of how you handled that eviction dump. I could tell in your voice and mannerisms that it was a stress trigger for you....instead of breaking down into sin, you did what a real follower of Christ should do. You dug In & faced it, and did what you could to creat a positive from a negative. For some who have fought addiction, triggers like that are a huge problem. Really proud of you for all the relationship work you must have done with Christ to get to this point! P.s. my wife is buying me a couple coffee mugs for Christmas...lol!

Great video, loved that shelving unit. You could use something like that for towels, linens, kitchen stuff, crafting items, and sheet music. Poor Jessie. Being a teenager is so difficult. Lol. Don’t have the heart to tell him it doesn’t get better. Besides they won’t believe me.

Paul, you should bring some duct tape with you so you can tape shut refrigerator doors, dryer and washer doors or any doors. It can also help keep obnoxious odors at bay!

Thought this would be interesting list of items you find most days. AC units, BBQs, bikes, bed frames, brooms, crock pots, coffee makers, crutches, dish washers, dryers, fans, folding chairs, Fridg., Garage door openers, Humidifiers, Ironing boards, kids battery powered toys, lawnmower, Lamps, Microwaves, New clothing with tags, Pots & Pans, Patio furniture, stoves, Sat dishes, Stand up lamps, Scooters, Vacuums, Wire Shelving and of course Palettes. You are a lucky man to have a house to live in a beautiful family , an ex-wife thats believes in co parenting. Doing what you like is so awesome and not very many have the opportunity to do. My wife and I did estate and hoarder house clean outs for years and its just a really good feeling when you haul a truck load of items to recycle or repurpose instead of the dump. Oh ya the mystery of whats in that next box or room. You have a great day.
I once went to Goodwill and found that exact Cannondale ,it was mint but had no pedals ,I got it for 10 bucks ! It's a hand made all aluminum frame with Shimano 105 components. I later sold it to a friend for 300$😉 ..... I've seen them sell for over 1000$. Great find 👍

Hi Paul. I noticed you are getting more stoves and dryers. If you would just take the time to undo the backs of them you could get some good # 1 copper. Also the front of the stoves are usually a piece of aluminum. As always I love your vids. keep it up.
Ouch Paul, sorry to hear about your shoulder, I had a tendon rip off and a torn rotator, I worked for 3 months until my insurance kicked in, talk about pain, its almost good as new now, so get her fixed! God Bless you brother!
I did have surgery and it was a 6 month recovery but best thing I ever did for my shoulder, I recommend getting it fixed, it won't heal on its own sir.
I'm glad to hear that yours healed. Mine is getting worse and worse every day. It's starting to come out of socket at random times during the day as I'm reaching for something or at night when I'm sleeping.
@@ScrapPalletMan sorry to hear about the random popping out of socket, that must be extremely uncomfortable. The pain is going to make you talk to an Orthopedic surgeon eventually. Recovery is long and PT is painful. Mine still gets sore from the cold and if I sleep on it, gets stiff. I will pray for you Paul. You have to get it done because you can't live like that for to long. Please be careful and safe my friend.

Went to the scrap yard today...work related. Thought of you while there. I was a fish out of water, for sure. Really nice cashier took pity on me after asking if it was my first time there. Also, nice fella pointed me in the right direction to unload. Threw an extension cord on shred, just doing what he told me....felt super wrong. They are an honest yard, they just deal with mega scrap more. My 300 lbs wasn’t much lol. Glad you’re feeling better, amigo.
Those were awesome bikes. Glad someone will get some use out of them. There was a bike repair shop near here. He would collect up old bikes. He gave free courses on bike repair but the bike you worked on was one he had collected. Once repaired when he had enough he shipped a load to places like Africa where they used them as their means of transport. Very cool. So sad when someone loses their home. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤

Did you notice the wood ladder at the same house with the bikes? G-D bless you for all you do for the kids and people affiliated with the Salvation Army.
I'm a bike guy so I like finding them, most I give to kids, try to fix up or donate to someone who has no car, I'm about to start biking myself, may no longer need a vehicle, you can get a trailer to tow for what you do.
You would love it on Junken night in Germany, people put out their unwanted items on sidewalk and people drive by and pick up what they want, I picked up a good TV set for German TV, crystal, and a 10 speed bike, like new that was same as I already owned, it was metric and mine was 27 inch tires. It was good enough that I used it for a couple triathlons. We lived in small villages and the free tv was great, didn’t understand most of what was said, but was learning enough to get by.
I would love to have that bike. So glad I'm not rich because I don't throw away good items like that. Would like to have seen more of the details of the bike, brakes cranks, hubs etc

Wow! Who in their right mind just throws away a Cannondale bicycle? Even parts can be worth a pretty penny. It might be a lower end model, I'm no expert but would think that's still $100+ minimum, definitely worth way more than scrap. Nice find! 👍💪

Great find with the bikes. Huffy is about $20 but the Cannondale was the real find. That could bring a few hundred dollars.

Cannondale bikes are put together custom for each person who buys them. You buy the frame and equip them the way you want. Expensive when new.
