This rolARTdex system has the potential to revolutionise your art practice and it's not hyperbole!
Every mixed media technique, tutorial, video, or class that you've watched, can become of REAL use to you, while having fun putting it together and using it.

Color Dexing Video 2 (video 1 here: • rolARTdex : WORKSHOP #... )
Let’s dex up our ‘go to’ colours! Maybe discover new schemes.
If you’re a beginner I thought that this might help you put together basic colour schemes by beginning with just one of your favourite colours.
You could keep both the schemes you like & the ones you don’t! Dexing them with your notes. Those you dislike can help you not go to those combinations again on future journal pages, thus saving frustration.
And even if you’re experienced, you can have many experiment cards with your favourite 1 or 2 colours and see what 3rd colour wants to play along. Or push yourself further by starting with a lesser liked colour and play until you find a combination that makes you like it more.
Experimentation is crucial for artists and we can often not bother. I’m hoping dexing provides the outlet to motivate you.
Low-tack masking tape is an option too of course.
If you like the idea of more guidance with choosing colour schemes, I will be returning to more in-depth Colour Scheme guidance in future videos.

Hi, thank you. I think I have it - Morning Mist?
Loving the Rolodex art series. it doesn’t seem like anyone makes videos anymore on artdex, memorydex, etc etc.
I'm so glad you're loving it so far... there is so much to show!
I love index cards and I'm glad they're kept alive by people like Daisyyellow with ICAD. I hope my project helps too. :)
