OH, and I still hope the wensleydale railway, (which also appears to have become quite a newfound hub in pacer preservation in recent years) can successfully re-open that stretch of line from leyburn up the dale to redmire, let alone onto castle bolton, Also to the west of Northallerton as well, I bet it'll be ever so great to see the entire remaining wensleydale line between redmire and northallerton fully resurrected in it's current surviving length, which is sure to go from strength to strength.
Indeed, I was lucky enough to do a trip to Redmire a few years ago when the line was open, I'll put a link in the video description to that video. I guess it's a question of money and volunteers. ....Drew
