I've had this one on the back burner, and I wasn't gonna release a video about it yet, but the leaks from Illegal Instructions was booming on funkg, so I had to get this out as soon as possible.
A download will be available soon. Along with the previous mods I worked on will all be bundled into a .zip as a mod for Psych Engine.

You know what would honestly be sick? If the song started at 1:17 (the timebar), foreshadowing Scorcheds glitching which could add some lore itself since it could be hes glitching cuz the song was supposed to initially start then.
I could imagine you doing another version where the glitch part is even more chaotic and difficult
This might just be the *best* version of Manual Blast yet, in my opinion. I’m just gushing at the visuals, it all looks so good! Everything is literally falling apart near the end, and BF actually sweating in the face of this monstrosity… good lord, it feels so climactic and epic, AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! 🔥

Small detail, but I love how the timer in Hog's section tricks you into thinking the song is shorter than it actually is

this recreation is amazing, has the best climax and details yet... hog's section having the timer fakeout, the original glitched scorched sprites, the way the background details slowly get corrupted until theyre deleted with the little text in the corner, bf starting to glitch during the part where his vocals glitch too, and the scene zooming out to reveal a tv/pc, just like in gore's original storyboard. masterpiece

If you look closely, scorched kinda has EXE's healthbar gimmick (aka no regenerating and loose health slowly and the opponent gains a little bit more health drain the more you miss)
It is a cool mechanic ngl, makes you actually concentrate when playing

Honestly I love how the charting of Scorched's part shows how he is. Scorched is canonically unhinged and doesn't give 2 fucks about anything. From the first part when he showed up, he immediately started throwing different things he had at you, but that was fairly calm. And when he started glitching out, it clear that he has stopped caring and now was throwing E V E R Y T H I N G at you. And his world started getting deleted the more it carried on until there was nothing but static
Honestly i found the slowing down of the song at 6:32 to be representing Scorched realizing his mistakes and no longer wanting revenge, just like the official comic where Scorched and Hog finally forgive each other as the cartridge they're in fries.

I have heard that glitching is caused by literally scorching game cartridge because Scorched goes all out.
Either way this is probably the best iteration of Manual Blast I have ever seen, with the part before transformation, after transformation, during glitching part and everything in between.
I simply love everything in this video.

For something fan made, holy sh!t you guys are talented; so talented I thought to myself in the end "that part's real, right????" Might be much to say it, but the og team shoulda hired y'all (then again, it might still happen regardless)
Agree completely, this is definitely the best iteration of it. There was also an iteration with dead trees and a red sky, a glitchy UI, and a red sun. It looked pretty good, but it was lacking in sprites. Mix the glitchy ending and sprites with the red sky and I think it would be the best.

This is the best manual blast i have ever seen. All object disappear slowly in the glitch part and so many things was added in one song just like fnf online mod. Love this creation so much, lot efforts!

The only tiny critique i have is that the colour flashes near the end might be a bit too intense, but other than that this is spectacular
I've been trying to find the best version of this song, this is probably the best version on all of youtube, the details are very good, the glitch at the end makes it feel like theres no hope left for boyfriend as everything is glitching/fading away, the start is good aswell with the time being different than the full length of the song, mechanics are pretty good aswell with the static arrows that i guess instakills or does half damage when pressed or makes the screen glitchy, this is beautiful! Outstanding job!
Apparently, it adds illegal instruction. My guess is that it would hurt a little, but adds text on the screen to block your view. Maybe if too many appear, you instantly die? (maybe about 50 or 30-ish times before instant death?)

Scorched Never really dies. He technically Exists in Every Other Cartridge Of Hog’s Game. Boyfriend is long gone though.

Imagine if every sonic exe revival mod had this quality, holy shit! I don't care if it takes a decade(like the base game), I can just hope for a future revival that have at least a fraction of polishing and quality compared to this.
The intended version of this song may not have as many details, but I can't fault the creator for any stress/hardships they may have been in.

Fun fact: Scorched is a code inside of Hog, and is Sonic The Hedgehog but corrupted due to Universal Merge, the Universal Merge was a Merge between Hog and Sonic, The merge happened and Hog and Sonics Code match in a huge coincidence. Sonic/Scorched, confused what happened Blames Hog for it and wants to avenge his friends: “I had everything, I had a life, I had friends, and you took all of that away from me, all of you.” Sonic angered wants Hog dead, I’ll type more if y’all want more lore.

It starts with Hog in Tropical Valleys, and Prowler holds a flicky and passes it to hog to pet it and how cute it is, hogs eyes start dilating and Prowler is Disturbed, Hog pets the flicky then crushes it with his hands as more blood soaks, prowler begins crying as hog wakes up, and sees blood all over his hands. He flees from the scene as he thinks prowler thinks of him as a cold blooded killer.

perfect. Just perfect. Only thing I would add is to have hogs design in manual blast look a tiny bit off and also have illegal instruction text appear without hitting the notes (in the script concept the text would appear automatically but more would appear if you hit the notes)
