Hi, you need to setup JRE in your jenkins. Please go to Jenkins--> Manage Jenkins and select the correct JDK version.

Hi Naveen, 3 months ago I started my journey of learning Java basics, Selenium, TestNG, POM from your channel tutorials and finally I reached the end of this video. Before 3 months I was having 0% knowledge in coding, purely into manual testing and now I wrote a small Java program and good in Selenium automation. I automated my office project, created one framework though that was not my task. All because of your good tutorials and good way of explaining, really your videos are precious. Thank you very much.

after downloading plugins, I am not able to restart Jenkins. There is no checkbox next to 'Restart Jenkins when installation is complete and no jobs are running '. I tried adding various plugins, but I never see the checkbox to restart. Please help

Hi Naveen ,I have query on Jenkins. after run the war file it will generate the password right based on password we can unlock the Jenkins right .But In my case after entered the localhost with port(8080) it not showing unlock the Jenkins. instead of that its showing like please wait Jenkins is getting ready to work. almost 20minutes over still its showing same page. At 24:05, I noticed you are getting an error at the bottom of console output : ERROR: Failed to parse POMs java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException: I encountered it as well and looked up and tried the solutions given on stackoverflow but had no luck. Can you please tell me how can we rid of this error so that the build doesn't fail at the end. However, it is running my selenium tests but just dont like the error given at the end, Pls reply,thanks a ton.

I have maven compiler plugin in my POM dependencies and I am using jdk 14v. Can please you guide me how to resolve this.

Hi Naveen , Could you please help me with this issue, Just after entering first time password I m getting Jenkins instance is Offline below that two buttons, One is asking for configure proxy and second one asking to skip plugin installation . I tried configure proxy there its asking for proxy server and port and when I tried with skip plugin installation no plugins were installed. It seems my Jenkins having hard time connecting to internet . There is no issue with my internet connection. Help would be really appreciated.
remove your jenkins and do a fresh install again. dont select for proxy server.

Whenever I want to start Jenkins, do I require to run "java -jar jenkins.war" this command on Jenkins folder where jenkins.war file is there ..? I have Jenkins 2.252 version, and I didn't find restart Jenkins option, while installing plugin, I had manually closed command prompt window and again re-run "java -jar jenkins.war", so how to restart Jenkins...? How to stop Jenkins at command prompt..?

1. we can also run our test cases remotely with Jenkins right? With Zalenium, can you please show that also in your videos? How to do the setup and how to execute test cases remotely.
2. When working with Jenkins I have noticed multiple selenium functions like Actions, Robot etc are not working, my test cases fail during the execution, but when I execute the same from eclipse it gets passed! Is there any way around if you can kindly suggest!

SOme of the test cases when ran with Jenking are showing status as FIXED. When I ran same test cases using Maven from command prompt those are getting passed. Is FIxed Status is also considered as PASS in Jenkin?

But i'm unable to do the continuous integration through Jenkins , since I have 3 different environments to work on. 1) I want BVT job should run once the DEV team checks in the code in GIT. 2) Jenkins job shoud be running picking up dynamically the environment from POM.XMl file. I'm using serenity BDD framework which is using @ Manged pages annotation, which does not allow me to set the environment url dynamically. I need to hard code the environment url everytime. so I'm stuck here. Could you please help me in this regard, Thanks a lot in advance!!
Hello Naveen, I have installed Jenkins and was trying install maven on Jenkins, and my system got restarted. I'm not able to restart the Jenkins. I'm getting message saying that "localhost refused to connect." when I have tried localhost:8080/.

I have installed Jenkins on AWS CE2 Windows Instance, and i have configured Maven, JDK every thng on the EC2 instance, i can access that from Local system with public IP, the problem here is when ever i try to run my pom.xml file from Local (I have given pom.xml file location )in the place of RootPom field. it is giving me the error as
ERROR: No such file C:\Testing2Jenkins\pom.xml
, Perhaps you need to specify the correct POM file path in the project configuration?
Can you help me out on this to resolve the error

Hi, Recently our company email is moved to 0365 So the SMTP server changed and the new SMTP is using TLS
As the Jenkins is not enabled with TLS I have updated the Java_Args as mentioned in blogs and restarted Jenkins via UI but my problem not fixed
JAVA_ARGS="-Djava.awt.headless=true -Dmail.smtp.starttls.enable=true"
this is the line I have added in Jenkis file under etc/default. Any idea on this one..

Did not find any matching files." How to fix it?

This video is very useful please update this video with a steps JDK installation in configuration if someone has higher version of JDK installed like me which was JDK 17. Jenkins does not support this instead of installing and setting environment variable for old version of JDK there is an option where we can install automatically in Jenkins configuration. Find solution by own wasting Saturday and Sunday both. I hope it will help others. Now, there is another question CMD will not allow installing Jenkins on version JDK 17 so I have use jenkins.msi for windows without service logon credential and find admin password from the location C:\ProgramData\Jenkins\.jenkins\secrets\initialAdminPassword which allow me to start Jenkins and open configuration and install JDK 9.
