I'm not in any way tec minded but I need a few small videos that I recorded on my mobile phone (Americans call them cell phones) sent to either a telephone number or an email address. I am not a phone person and especially not a mobile phone user but I need this task done. My mobile is at least 20 years old; is a Samsung and I also see Bluetooth written on the back. There are no other numbers present so I have no idea what phone it is. I can record about 5 to 7 minutes in footage and after about 2 or 3 minutes the phone seems to start a new 'file'? and continue separating the videos into roughly 2 or 3 minute segments. I don't care if it does this as long as the whole footage can be sent. When I try to send via email it says on the screen: multimedia message or email or Bluetooth. I have no idea what the multimedia means nor Bluetooth but I do understand email; when I press on it it says Set Profile Information First but as usual with todays technology it fails to tell me how I do this. Where is this profile information located? as I looked in Settings but was even more confused by what was in there. If anyone responds to this post with any kind of guidance please respond in the most simple way imaginable!

Hi, what I understood is that you are trying to send a video file to someone but your video gets automatically divided in segments because the size is too big to be sent. There are 3 ways to share a file: 1- through email, 2 through text message, 3- through bluetooth. If you are sending it via bluetooth, the two devices need to be close to each other, enable bluetooth on both devices ( phone with a phone for example).
If you are sending the video as a text message, this is a multimedia message (MMS) which requires an internet connection to send this kind of text message or MMS. Without mobile data (internet) your message will fail. Your carrier is the one that limits the MMS file size, not your phone. For example, some carriers will allow images up to 1.2 MB and videos up to 3.5 MB, while others have 1 MB limit for sending (3 MB for receiving)
If you are sending the video via email, on average, an email's maximum attachment file size ranges from 10MB to 25MB maximum. If your file is greater than 25 MB, Gmail automatically adds a Google Drive link in the email instead of including it as an attachment. Learn more about Google Drive attachment sharing settings. It depends also on the email server you are using. Hope this helped

Thanks for your time. The videos cannot be sent from one phone to a phone in the same room (close by)! Otherwise I wouldn't need to send them. I'm trying to get them to send to a relative in another country so I assume Bluetooth is useless in this regards? And I don't know what 'carrier' means in context; is it the company I pay to send messages or make telephone calls? I wish they would stop making such things so complex and time consuming! I can't send via email as when I try it says Set Profile Information First but it doesn't tell me what that means or where anyone can set such information.

Hi, check the size, some large files will take longer or will not transfer. Make sure bot the device are very close to one another, restart both phone, and repeat the process from the beginning, your two devices must be paired through bluetooth first.
