I got some serious "Ministry" vibes on this one, which is a HUGE compliment. I've always loved Ministry, and the addition of the vocalist in this band fits so well. Awesome!
I carry gojira with me to my last days.... the power in musical/lyrical content is unlike others I've come across. Bury me to art of dying. Theyre fcking incredible.... And remember.... the wolf is your master....
good morning, yes, now i'm awake. the drummer, the drummer. excellent! great video, too! just sitting outside in the cold in my hot tub, a morning coffee and some music on my ears. best way to start a day
Knew wed see more from you on Gojira, and you're currently the only one doing them. A recommendation that displays their true potential from day 1 - "Space-Time" live from the 'Link Alive' album. Crazy to see what they pull off on stage even as young dudes. Also, they have a song very similar to your expressive words in the end called "The Axe" about overcoming these things that slowly drown us. It is arguably one of their best tracks as well, watch with lyrics for sure!
Wow, I really like those machine-gun riffs and the song's rhythm and flow! Chills! I'm not that familiar with this band, but this one is definitely a winner! Another one to add to my playlist - thanks so much!
Good morning to the Worldwide Gojira Collective I'm seeing them for the 10th time in Massachusetts in September and I'm stoked The ride work Mario is doing during the verses and the last 16 bars is pure Jazz chops Also Joe's riff in this song is simple yet extremely effective Magma which this song came from was Gojira's BLACK album Shorter songs a bit less complicated and a different mix compared to their other albums But we're talking about the might Gojira here lol so what's simpler and less complicated to them is leagues above what other bands do 🧐✌️🤘
👍Glad you got to this one. Vocalist has a great tone with legible lyrics, rare in metal. Drummer is one of the best. Guitars fill the space in all the right places maximizing the potential of minimalism. Not everything has to be 20 minutes of shred like First Fragment, ( not that thats bad ). They really do have an amazing mix where they can pound some creative rhythms at you put still find the spaces and frequencies to color the canvas.
whats brings me joy is that you have their entire discography to discover :spoiler :no bad songs ,,dude :the heaviest matter of the universe ! albums or live at brixton ,tho i lreally like the combo oroborus /the heaviest matter ..live at garorock 2009 ( that year specifically is prime gojira )
Every time I hear Gojira, I like them a little more.
Same with me!
What can I say? It's Gojira, I just click, watch, headbang, and go with their flow. They move my spirit.
Indeed! They got that bass we need you know.
They move my internal organs xD
I love Gojira. I'm going to see them with Spiritbox and Korn in September and I cant wait!
One of my favorite bands, saw them perform ones, blew me away. Damn these guys are good.

Do us and yourself a favour and watch the live version at Brixton academy, a second reaction of this would be awesome 🔥
Perfect next one should be Gojira - Flying Whales (Pol'And'Rock Festival - 2018). 😀
Peace !
I mean as an amateur fan, Mario's the best drummer I've heard since Neil Pert
