Yeah, it’s the age of social media, but i genuinely think ALL Celtic fans WOULD be patient IF we had faith in the club and recruitment team getting things done. There’s zero faith there for obvious reasons. I do think we’ll get a keeper before the season starts, even though it’s important to bed them in, but I hope our desperation for that doesn’t detract from the clear fact we need more quality in defence, midfield, and up front. We need 5-6 players in.
Couldn’t agree more! I said it when hart said he was retiring that I wouldn’t be surprised if we started with Bain 1st game of the season! We need approx 5-6 players in at least! Wouldn’t blame Rodgers this time round if he walked!

He would be a good keeper to bring in, bit like you though I can't see it he will have plenty of offers in ligue1 and probably a better quality of life too. On the subject of not getting deals done soon I'm a bit nervous about it but we can't expect teams to bend over backwards for us. We won't let clubs take O'Riley at the 1st offer. Nobody out there would go to any personal deal and pay exactly what the seller wants as well there's always wiggle room.

@@1976Doc Because of their published and often-stated vision for the club, which is the buy young, sell high, and make profit, which is great for business (and nice bonuses) but not so great if you're trying to be more ambitious as a football club. Also because of their longevity at the club (it's not normal) and their obvious dislike (politically, culturally) for large swathes of core Celtic support. Also because their recruitment setup and negotiation strategies are atrocious. Ange highlighted both how good things can be if done properly and how bad things really are when there's nobody like him around to get those good things done. We have a board full of geriatric men, many of whom should be retired, with absolutely no vision for Celtic other than stay better than a poor Rangers team, make profit, sell stock and merch and tickets, gather the money, increase their wages and bonuses, and then repeat. I don't understand fans who are okay with the way the club is run.
