- For the first time ever a female calisthenics event was held at the FIBO expo at the Baristi Workout booth C50 in Hall 5.2
The "Queen of the Bar" Battle was organised to bring some of the best female calisthenics athletes in the world together in a elimination style 1vs1 battle to encourage women that calisthenics is not just for guys!

Bar-barella.com me neither! Beats me. When I posted, I was following on from another post that said "can't wait for king of the bar 2015!"
So I thought how if this is a gender specific tournament, what about one for transexual competitors.
Hence my comment.
Well, if it brings a smile to folk/makes them click like, I have no issues.
Bar work is awesome, balls, boobs or whatever you have/don't have.

all Melanie's tricks cut 1 second before failed? Sorry for this one brother, but too much politics from Ed and too little fairness in this competition. We all know Monika got them this day. For me even Alejandra deserved 2nd place more than Melanie. Fails are not good example for the game, and we do workout, not circus anyway. This way people do not even see the truth. Showing only part of it is same useless like making extra rounds that were absolutely not needed. This all still have to be better next time. salute
Adam Raw stop internet thugging. I was one judge of 4. Monika is strong and Im happy she got to enjoy the comp and leave smiling. Everyone will always have a different opinion in freestyle, thats why its freestyle. I didn't even wanna judge in the first place.
For example: I compete to have fun and don't take it too serious. It's fun and we wanna spread the movement. So much positive energy in this 4 days and we found more and more girls who are interested in our sports. We all had much fun and left this comp with a smile :) much ❤️ to all the other girls.
As long as nobody got hurt by doing risky fails cause it still means win... ppl really open your eyes even that Madrid girl did better that day. Ppl have no pride and honor these days rotten to the core...

Are there any calisthenics girls out there that can do a mixture of pure strength moves on the bar instead of just swinging around it for the majority? The only strength moves I saw here were a few one arm chin - ups, muscle - ups and two back levers. I mean, props to them and everything but surely women can do it like the guys with the right training?
exactly my thoughts tooooooo much swinging. I mean they just need to focus on training for control not momentum. however i'm critical of a lot of the guys they swing too damn much for me too lol

Insane how much difference there is between guys and girls in this. For dudes, 80% of this stuff is intermediate at most. That 1 arm pull up was crazy though!

the reason why the King of the bar was 25 minutes and Queen of the bar was 2 is because the King of the bar ws more entertaining because men have more strength and the queen of the bar was just a little boring they all were just doing muscle ups.

I think this video is so much better than the King of the Bar video, but I wish it wasn't't a montage. The men's video was like 30 minutes long.
