@@TimWilborne pls sir, i have been using ccw for a while, now i need to communicate with another software (excel or scada) and i need the opc/dde function, i just discovered that rslinx classic lite doesn't support this function, i don't have plc, i have been using the simulator only, pls is there anyway to use the opc/dde function without real plc?
Awesome video! The particular case could also be done on the VFD (just in case you don't have a PLC to use). I had a case where I needed to regulate water level, so I programmed an input to be 20 percent faster than my incoming pump when my water level sensor was false, and 20 percent slower when the water level sensor was true. I love the logic on this project though, super cool!! Thanks Tim for doing these videos.
HI Tim. quick question. is there any way i can get 4-20mA out of Micro820? I'm using 2080-OF2 plug-in module, but the output is 0-65533, tried to scale it but no different. as you know the data type on this module is UINT so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong here. Thanks in advance!.
with two discrete inputs you could have many step speeds utilizing a step then wait logic and even have a full on 100% with a ramp speed of your choice.
Yes you could Joel. Overall I wouldn't be a fan of this without some feedback of the actual speed. We did it in this HMI video though the drive speed was over a network connection. twcontrols.com/lessons/reading-and-writing-analog-values-to-an-allen-bradley-panelview-800-hmi-touchscreen
I discovered a new way to do this while watching your video 😊
That's great!

Great Video, helped much!
Glad to hear it Scott.

Yes, I don't have a video on it but you just need to do some scaling. What is the full range of the module, that is what will equal 0-65533.
i like your videos , but i would like to suggest if you could make a tutorial step by step for rslogix 5000 for beginner . thanks
We have a whole lesson series on Studio 5000, you can find all of our lesson series at the twcontrols.com/plc-lessons

Can we have a video on AB safety relays ?
Check out this lesson series on the CR30.
