Just want to say you're doing a great job with these videos. Clearly, the algorithms haven't caught onto that yet, but I find them as clear and engaging as some creators with tens of thousands of subs. As a relatively new flat-fee financial planner, I find your videos really helpful - so, thank you. I hope you are rewarded for your efforts.

Wow, thank you for your kind words. That really does mean a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, hope you found it helpful. Let me know if there's anything interesting you want me to make videos about in the future. Cheers.

Great video but you missed one of the bigger new accounts for First time home buyer’s. They just came out with it this year the “FHSA”(First Home Savings Account) you can contribute 8k a year up to a max of 40k as essentially a TFSA that you have to use on your first house.

It’s not in affect yet, set for April this year but it is suppose to work like a RRSP and TFSA where you can claim the contribution off income like an RRSP and untaxed like a TFSA

Yes thanks for sharing! I record all my videos pretty far in advance to batch them up, so I must have missed this since it was earlier in 2022. Appreciate you sharing this though!

@@AffinityLife I don’t blame you eh, I talked to my investment manager about a week or two ago and they didn’t even know what it was 😂. Seems like it’s under most peoples radars.

Nice video. But please provide more proper details how and what can we do for point 2: Deduct employment expenses, and point 5, claim eligible medical expenses. Also you said in the video that you will put links for more details on these two points, but I don't see anything about that. Seems you missed the links, and also please provide more details. And any video you can share.
