Trust me lots of us New Kids fans are fans of Debbie, Tiffany, Naughty and S&P. My pre teen and teen years all together. Went to the Total Package Tour concert last year. I am complete after this concert.
My youth in a nut shell. My first concert was Salt N Pepa.
I honestly don't remember alot about Tiffany or Debbie Gibson. I remember salt n Peppa & naughty by nature. But they're a little bit later. And I was still playing w/ Barbie's & my little ponies when nkotb came out.

Oh man, my teenage heart is exploding with this line up ❤️ Jenny was so good, she just let them talk and riff off each other without interrupting. So good to hear them tell all their stories and relive their memories. Such a good interview!
If you look at this line up and think " WTH are they thinking !!!! " You are NOT FROM the 80s ! The rest of us are sitting here looking at them thinking... " Yep, there is one of my mixed tapes in the flesh ! "

Tiffany only had a few songs played on the radio... Debbie Gibson was way better. Omg I was in Middle School in a White neighborhood and those White Girls was ,so in aww about New Kids on the block.😗

Donnie seems like a pretty sharp guy. I loved how he said You didn’t have a boyfriend before and I didn’t have a girlfriend. Very cute.

@Gr8fulmusicgirl 3406 & to all other teenagers who are about to go see New Kids...I grew up w/these groups & a few years back, during their "Total Package" tour w/98 Degrees & Boyz II Men, my daughter who was about 16 at the time ALWAYS made fun of me for going crazy when they would play a New Kids song on the radio. Then we heard about the "Total Package" tour coming close to us in Indianapolis, IN & she started looking here on TH-cam at their past & current videos & even found where it talked about how they take cruises w/their fans which I didn't even know. Needless to say she knows more about them now than I ever did & had seen them in 4 concerts already (now 5). So I took her to go see them & got floor tickets that were really good seats. When it was time for them to come out on stage, the lights went out & next thing I knew, my daughter was hitting my arm like crazy screaming "there they are there they are". It was a night never to forget & I can honestly say my 16....now 20 year old daughter will never forget either. And that's why you should always listen to your parents about boy bands. LOL

My childhood is on that stage! I wish I could have been a fan in the audience for this! I remember when every single one of these talented musical geniuses first hit the spotlight! It seems like yesterday. The 80's and early 90's music scene was outstanding!! I miss my cassettes! I miss my radio! I miss my MTV!!

This was one of the top concerts I have been to! The energy was on point the entire time, we literally couldn't stop dancing! Amazing in NOLA !!

i love the show they talking about concert and things. i read on close capional for deaf, i forget to tell you i went to Hawaii School for the Deaf and the Blind. i graduated in 1984. now my life is change.

My sister in law saw this concert at Hershey park stadium . It rained but it was still a dream come true for her because she's been a nkotb fan and in love with Joey McIntyre since day one . The show was awesome !

Just saw this concert on Saturday July 6th in Hershey. Anniversary gift for the wife and it was a great concert. I'm 45 and she is 38, so definitely our generations music

NHBLUE69 I can tell you that you really love your wife. Just by taking her to watch a show you might not be a fan but that really shows you do love her. I remember my favorite band from argentina "soda stereo" was going to tour in los angeles in november 2007 and i told my husband "will you go with me?" He said yes even though he was not a fan. Well, he actually was a fan because he started to sing along with the group. To see my husband sing their songs was priceless and it meant a lot to me.
Excited for this tour! Saw Debbie & Tiffany on an 80’s Cruise in 2016 & 2017 (along with Belinda & Berlin) and while Debbie was really disappointing, Tiffany is amazing with her fans! Going back in March where Tiffany is our host with Dee Snider from Twisted Sister.
Um why was Debbie disappointing?
Yea she lost her voice. Some say it's because she had lime disease. I don't know the whole story.
I had to sell my ticket for the Nashville show, which was last night. Because I am recovering from emergency gallbladder surgery. It broke my heart so bad that I started to cry afterwards. Seeing the clips from everyone and their concert experience, I felt like a teenager again. Hopefully, I can make it to a show soon.

I've never heard any band speak so highly of the manager before lije the way nkotb about maurice man. You always hear the managers robbed them or even assaulted them
They talked shit about him long ago, like, the man started wearing military clothes after they got big, for no reason

They never really said bad things about Maurice, but they did want their own talents to start showing rather just Maurice giving them lyrics and such.
The fan base got so big that the bodyguards started packing guns!! Remember this was a time when bodyguards didn't have to carry weapons, before New Kids. New Kids on the block had the craziest fans, pandemonium. Crazier than Beatle mania!
Maurice wearing that military style clothing because the fan base was just too big and also that was the start of the first Gulf War, everybody was supportive of the military everybody! Even if you didn't like the actual war and you know what even the soldiers did not like the actual War stop the military there is no U.S.
Remember that!
Even a bunch of artists came out with that song to support the military. Voices that Care.

And to be fair they do mention the 1980's in this interview so very confused here, and in many other interviews over the years on TV they bring up the 80's like them being on the 80's festival tours and music videos on 80's channel I mean this is common knowledge so very confused by this lol
