My RNG has sucked this week, first I turned around 70 Iron banner engrams to try to get the autorifle roll i wanted, nope, then i turned in 100 wish engrams and only 1 red border. Im not getting back on till reset.

I got the og 5/5 immortal last weekend it was available, and i got my 5/5 igneous around thr 105th drop which was essentially my last game before i was going to turn in my last card.

Just finished 7 Comp matches and I've managed to get the godroll Rose- SS / Explosive Payload on my 2nd from the first 4 focused engrams.. GGs y'all and have a good time

Funny enough, I secured a max range Rose w/ Slideshot and Opening shot, but at the time it wasn't considered the God Roll. I knew it was a good roll, but I wanted that Slideshot and Rangefinder roll. Never did get that roll, but Bungie went out and did me a solid by nerfing Rangefinder 🤷♂
I put 777 kills on my ele cap explosive rose w/ 70 range and 75 handling …. Best feeling hc on strand with my adept inquisitor slug shotty…. As a console player of course

Yeah tought the same, not just with hc but with sniper And shotgun too, some hit or even head just dont register
not just you. something definitely feels off but i’m not sure what it is. i just assume it’s a skill issue on my part lol.
@FAUXCUSpd not a skill issue I think. I've been watching sniper shots go into people's heads and they getting body shot hits or just plain misses. Seems a lot worse than usual lately
I’ve only had to focus 5 to get my five out of five god roll. Two the first week wiffed but this week I got two with slide shot and explosive payload. On of them being my personal 5 out of 5 being full bore, accurized rounds, Slide shot, explosive payload with a handling master work. I do want to try to get one with a range master work to see which I’d rather have as well as one with opening shot and All the same perks.
Your "personal 5 out of 5" is flawed. Full bore, accurized and a handling masterwork get yours to, in terms of range, stability and handling in that order, 68, 35, 65. If you have corkscrew rifling and a range masterwork instead, the stats are: 68, 50, 65. Your roll is objectively worse than the one with corkscrew and a range mw due to fullbore just removing stats from stability and handling. +15 stability is nothing to scoff at, either. It is pretty huge. Not to say your roll is bad, it just isnt a 5 out of 5, and this isnt even a "personal preference" thing, yours just lacks the stats a true 5 out of 5 could have.
Well that’s completely wrong 😂 my range is 71 and my stability is 33 which is low but I don’t really even notice it cause all hand cannons have terrible muzzle bounce on controller and my handling is at 80. Also the difference of 10 range is one meter.

If the took away the slide/shooty melee they should do the same for strand swing/shotty melee
Honestly I'd prefer explosive payload on the rose frabo, been chasing that roll and i have had ZERO luck getting it *inhales copium*
Explosive is the way to go:
1) can hipfire 1shot wall nades
2) can destroy threadlings ez
3) can use to destroy lines ez for build
4) catch ppl who are one shot by shooting a surface
5) flinch factor
6) explosive part doesn’t suffer from dmg fall off
Imo explosive rounds are hands down the best hc perk for any given column since rf nerf

Only drawback is that it can’t 3 tap in checkmate but hoping they change that

Smallbore, ricochet rounds, slice, hatchling, stability mw. Goes dummy with broodweaver Swarmers and the artifact mods

I feel you on Rose. I haven't gotten as many as you but I've never even seen one with explosive payload. I get rangefinder or vorpal about 70% of the time.
Finally got a rangey quickdraw openings shot which is very playable, but still...
With that said, I'm still loving that you can focus old comp weapons, huge qol improvement.
How about like a random iron banner event where you start with white guns and blue equipment. And it ends when you get all eight pieces of gear in iron banner fit

I know this is your job, but how do you manage to play Competitive without going insane? I literally cannot get a fair game in my matches, it drives me up the wall. Now that comp actually matters for getting good weapons, they need to look into fixing this matchmaking.
Yea same here, got unfair matchmaking, i end up got like newbie teammate while the other team sometimes sweaty players.

Strand hunter is pure movement with a balanced kit till they put on exotic to double the amount of clones but than again evert class has a cheese so but strand hunter 9 times out of 10 piss on you with pure neutral movement

Strand hunter is not easy to use all these ppl saying its not fair give it a try lol! Frabo does it well but he plays D2 for a living and worked to get efficient with it just my opinion.

When using a Threadling spec it is definitely unfair, when using a non-Threadling build it is just as fair as Attunement of Sky was in Y3 and 4

If some guy had insane movement and killed me, he’s better. You trade your ability to play revives or points for personal movement and survivability (lore accurate lol). But the quadruple threading build with sixth coyote decoys and double nades is BIG cringe.
If you don’t like threadling spam built hunters it’s because you aren’t an explosive rounds hc main, and you don’t know how to jump, juke, or slide away from simple danger🤷♂️. I am but a simple solar warlock main for pvp “this season” if you used the threadling build, you would know how to beat the build, call it research into how to preserve high kd 😂
