i think the voices in the recording are two different people. the voice yelling "steve, do you hear me? you need to run" REALLY sounds like hopper to me, but the scream following it sounds more like a member of the party, maybe dustin or will. i swear to god if they kill steve i'm going to scream and throw up and die DUFFER BROTHERS I AM IN YOUR WALLS
Yeah it's definitely Will screaming. But it's not a regular scream, it's an agonizing painful scream. I've listen to the audio so many times and he never says Steve's name. I actually heard a different name which makes sense to the way he's screaming. Other people also never hear Steve either and they too hear the name I heard.

Then you can hear Will like in a distance say a name and then he says do, do you hear me ( this is where the " Steve " gets misunderstood. Because in both hear and me, especially me sounds like Steve ), then when he screams you need to run, rrruuunnn, it's literally a heartbreaking agonizing scream. And when I first heard it I was like that had to be Dustin because of how close they are. But when people kept saying it was Will and that there were people who confirmed they actually saw Noah filming this scene I had to listen to it like 50 times to see if I could actually hear Will screaming for Steve. Because for me that's random, really random, they barely know each other. And I didn't think the Duffers would have Will scream like that for Steve. Dustin for sure but not Will. Plus the fact that there are others who say they never hear Steve but they hear the name I hear. . So for this other person it makes total sense. So yeah Will only mentions a name once at the very beginning in the distance right after the " directors " loudly talk. But I am very worried and since I actually love this character myself. I just hope Will can save this person. Sorry so long. Also just wanted to give Steve fans hope that it's not him.

So what I am now thinking because I've been reading a lot of comments saying this is what they heard and now it makes sense. But again nothing is confirmed . This is most likely the military not the Upside Down ( which I originally thought so that's why in the audio you hear " grab him by the throat " because it was a military person grabbing the one that Will screams to run ). Remember in season 4, there was that military guy Sullivan who went to Owens to find El because he wanted to kill her? He also saw the Cali crew rescuing and taking off with El in the desert. I read a few months ago the actor is expected to return for season 5 to get El. Now in the title episode videos, I read 2 comments that said Mike is definitely going to be the missing Wheeler. One said after those video clips back in February with El and Mike on the roof of the radio station, there was another one of just El after that standing on the roof looking down screaming ( she sees Mike is being taken ). The other said they remembered last summer when the Duffers did the Funko pops and one video had Mike standing alone while the other ones were all together. Now for this audio some were talking about Will being in the Upside Down but a few said he's actually at the radio station ( which if he was talking to someone in the Upside Down, how would that work if he's talking through a radio device ). But if he was at a military base and he tried to escape using a walkie talkie or something then it would work through the radio station. So he's able to call there and get Will at the station. Because if the military took Mike it's obvious because they want El and of course he'll never give her up. Remember what Sullivan did to that one guard who survived and was protecting the Byers after Owens took El so she could get her powers back in season 4 and finally that guard tells Sullivan where she is because he couldn't stand the torture anymore. So I'm figuring this is what's happening. Let's just hope Will can save him since he needs to help both El and Will to destroy Vecna.
If it is the vanishing of mike wheeler then its like a parallel to the vanishing of will byers and then will gets a flashback so vecna possesses him and he goes to upside down where he sees mike and then byler becomes canon

i personally think karen is gonna vanish because in a video before i said smth like karen looks like shes seen the particle dust upside down thingys so i think shes gna vanish and obvs the theory of karen being henrys sister sooooo 🤷♀️ but i also think mike could vanish and then will is finding him and then they have a moment together in the upside down 😊😊
tbh i actually think jonathan is an apollo kid and will is hades 😅 jonathan has been shown so much to have a big interest in music and also with photography like you said, i feel like he’s an apollo kid that has gone astray

I don't think they recast Holly because they need an older actress as Nelle Fisher is only a year older than the twins who played holy in s1-4. Its probably either because the twins quit or because Holy has a more emotionally challenging role this season
