Hockey News Reporter: Yeah, try to do your best and explain/put this to words Gabriel: It’s amazing and just as I mentioned earlier. In my old boys room, I had the 2001 Stanley Cup Champions poster on my wall. And my dream has always been to be a part of that. And to sit next by the cup and wear this Jersey. I can’t believe that we actually have done it. It’s crazy and wonderful. HNR: How did you feel when it was time for you to receive the cup? Gabriel: I… I mean that has been the goal for the past 6 to 7 weeks and your focus before bedtime. I haven’t dared to think to much but the focus is the cup and it’s an amazing feeling which I can’t describe, but now I need to go and find my wife who’s here somewhere. 1:17 - You mentioned your dad. Anyone else that means a lot to you that comes to mind on a day like this? Gabriel: Mom, Dad, my big brother. My children of course. They probably don’t understand what has happened. But one day they’ll realises that their dad is a Stanley Cup Champion. It’s wonderful. (more people comes to mind) My friends of course, my teammates. The fans in Denver have been unbelievable. The list is to long. 1:52 HNR: You talked about Krügers (Marcus Krüger, Chicago) party on his day(with the cup) in 2015. Now you will have your own. Any ideas what to do when the Cup comes to Stockholm? (Gabriel’s hometown) Gabriel: I haven’t dared thinking about it to be honest with you, but it’s gonna be a party I’ll tell you that Second reporter: You mentioned earlier that the cup was heavy yet light. How do you feel? Gabriel: You can’t really describe it. This is something that you have dreamt of for so many years. I’ve watched every final since 2007, and every year I text my dad and says; Someday, this will happened (for us) and now we’re. HNR: You are also the second Swedish captain that will raise the cup. What does that mean to you? Gabriel: it’s wonderful. I mean there’s so many that have inspired and so many that have pushed you on… I can’t even explain. But I’m proud. And I couldn’t have done it without these guys. So amazing. HNR: What did you and Nate say to each other? You two that have made this journey together? Gabbe: I’m so proud of him and for the journey that he’s made and the journey we have made, together. There have been frustrating moments, moments where we have screamed at each other. But this has been the goal and it have all been worth it. It’s wonderful
Being a Blackhawks fan that lives in Denver, I think it’s awesome Marcus Kruger and Gabe have a connection. Thanks for the translation. It’s not often we hear the guys speak their native tongue.
I’ve traveled to Sweden and they do speak English very well. But Landy also played junior hockey in Canada and has pretty much lived in North America ever since.

A few days after you posted this comment, Andreas Englund provided a translation - look through the comments. Agreed on Gabe!
