They can sense you on higher levels just walking past somewhere and engage, so stealth is... optional. Or from distance. Certain areas does work with stealth, but not all of them.
If you play It in the arcade or normal modes, its not as easy beeing spotted by the enemies... I never played It in the Extreme mode, cause i want to see the enemies on the map, and because the game probably gets more difficult than i want It to be to enjoy the game
EMP definitely works on helos. In between that base you were working on and the cartel held gas station is a rock only accessible by helicopter and I call it “the rock of hate and discontent” because I get up there and harass the gas station (the base is a too far away but I shoot the jammer and mortar the generator) and I farm tier 1 points and the occasional convoy comes along, unidad vehicles that come by are never heard from again. Great video, my friend 🤝🏻
Unfortunately the EMP drone will only work if you're close enough to the vehicle. Otherwise it's just like enemies despawning if you look away from the corpse for actually less than 30 seconds (I decided to do mostly takedown gameplay like Assassin's Creed lol), the vehicle will 'reset' once you stop using the drone. I also tried using EMP on helicopters (planes seem impossible since they fly high, rarely spawn, and is faster than the drone), and it's kinda hard to do since, just like how enemies will always know where you are if you're in the detection range when they're hunting you, helicopters know when your drone is near them and try to avoid them by usually flying higher.
Extreme Tier 1 is with most of the hud off is super fun.... even when you die. You learn really fast to plan out exits, you learn how to use distance, and you get better. It is way more exciting this way.

I've been at Tier level 1 since August of 2017 and have never turned it off since, although I've been asked by co-op players to have me turn it off to see if the difficulty level would decrease because they're just not ready for Tier One mode's unforgiving gameplay but, even so I always tell them all "No Way, you're just going to have to stop going in Loud & Proud and start adopting a Low & Slow stealthier type of gameplay to survive at Tier One mode's ramped up difficulty" :)
Hmm... Interesting. I thought difficulty scaling only works for individual players, instead of a whole group. Have you got any luck trying to match with different players in ''Tier mode progression'' servers?
@MrLangobard Tier One mode difficulty in co-op should always be an average of all players that have it turned on (Not for sure about players with it off though???), that is unless Ubisoft changed that, which I highly doubt since that would involve them actually lifting a finger to work on their Ghost Recon franchise :/
@@k24skin When I was playing in co-op, I got detected way sooner (my own mistake), while my co-op buddies with tier mode off and on Arcade diff were taking a stroll within the base with no issues. Hence the question :)
@MrLangobard Well, I know that it's not adjusting a player's difficulty with each Tier One leveling, just at certain levels within the 50 Tier one levels but, by level 20 on down to Tier level 1 the difficulty level has maxed...I myself am going to stream a Tier One Mode+Ghost Mode playthrough soon, I just have to get a dedicated microphone as my headsets audio quality "Sucks" :/
For the assault rifle I love the M16 with iron sights and the trigger set to semiautomatic and three round burst. Semi auto for distance shots and the three round for when I have to engage outside of stealth.
Jeez, to take out the jammer AND the missile launcher all you need to do is use the sniper rifle to shoot and disable the GENERATOR over to the left of the base.
Of course. But shooting a generator causes alert, while turning it off causes them to investigate. Not that it matters if you just mortar strike it ... But still correct.
@@MrLangobard that annoyed at first but I kind of like setting up a sniping spot and with a counter ambush (mines/c4 on the nearest roads, proximity mines behind any cover, preplanning where I can flank from). It’s not really practical bc you’re pretty much just escalating the situation but it’s fun if you just like long range sniping.
The person you linked and talk about near the beginning of your video lost many viewers including myself when he made some racist comments, repeatedly calling someone the N word on a video. Later, instead of apologizing he said that he hoped it would get him more YT views. Before I saw that, I saw videos where he does things like saying one rifle is better because he kept shooting at the enemies' feet with the second one and couldn't figure out how to adjust his aim, said a target was killed in one hit when I clearly heard three hits, and many where he just keeps bumbling around with low skills getting himself shot.
For someone giving pro tips, it’s strange you don’t know you can still use the drone when it’s jammed. You can fly way closer to the jammer than you did in this video and be able to call a mortar strike. Same with spotting. Just do it quickly.
I was thinking about not using vehicles, but the sheer size of the map makes it rather difficult. Also, some missions require to use a mode of transport. Perhaps one day I will try that.
