@sehrishgill9916 base 10 means the decimal number system. So when we say base 10, we mean there are 0-9 elements in the decimal number system. Decimal number system values: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 if you count all of these values INCLUDING 0, you get 10 elements, so that is why we call the decimal number system base 10 and the binary number system base 2 (hint: because binary has only 2 elements, 0 and 1) and hexadecimal that goes from 0-9 and A-F where A is 10 until we reach F that is 15. Hexadecimal has base 16. Octal I think has base 8. I hope my long explanation helps.
