I own both of these. I find that the MAK has less snap and is more comfortable to shoot in the hand than the CZ. But that's just me. My Polish P64 is a different matter however. SNAPPY!
I got the CZ-83 in .32acp back in the spring of 2020 from Aimsurplus. Good luck in finding magazines if you ever get one. The gun came with one, found 2 more from some AK outfit in the Northeast somewhere, I put it out on Facebook about magazines and that's how I found those two.. I think I bought the last 3 magazines from CZ-USA shortly after I found the previous 2 mags. I've only seen magazines on Gunbroker for about $100 once a blue moon.
I own both and the cz82 is missing the cool factor big time. The cz82 isn't as desirable as they can still be bought online from gun websites that aren't auctions like gun broker. Also another huge thing for me is the crappy painted finish on the cz82 compared to the blued finish on the makarov Plus the makarov being Russian is just cool.
I’ve only shot a few different guns ? Glock 19, czp07 , bersa bp9cc. But my gpa cz 82 in 9x18 makarov is best shooting gun I’ve ever shot
Have both...both are good, but prefer the cz for ammo capacity.

Makarov is better only in 1 thing, decocker. CZ 82 is better in all other things. 12+1 capacity, sights, grip, look... Serbia

I'd add grip angle; IMO better in CZ 82/83.

I'd take the mak ! Simpler , thinner , no issues ! No mag issues , and the mags are plentiful and wayy cheaper .
