Very cool combo! Super smart to stack multiple 2hp modules for just the right set of controls. I like the workflow too that you’re using feeding it back into the box. Good vibes!

At last somebody normaly showed this sampler. Thanks for that.

Just wanted to let you know that I had the same clipping issues with Cubase 13. I thought something was broken with the module until I saw your video, so I unchecked the following options in the export audio options while exporting the samples. Insert Broadcast Wave Chunk, Insert iXML Chunk there are a few other options below them that should not be checked as well. Now its operating properly, thanks for a great video. Cheers!

Nice! Thanks for the kind comment and detailed info for others that may use Cubase, cheers 🤘

Man, this is an area of studio GAS that I desperately want to be addicted to lol. That rack in your studio (that was yours right?) looks amazing! Make a shirt that says “ask me about my big rack” right now! Lol

Yooo!!! Sounds like you need to start a pun shirt brand haha - Yeah it's mine, I got into Eurorack early this year, it's a super expensive slippery slope of module buying but has honestly changed my entire prospective of synthesis and sound design

Very nice! But does the loaded sampler have a maximum length of seconds?

Those tiny knobs are awesome - where are they from?

Also wondering about the knobs. The t18 trim pots are annoying

Haha everyone wants to know about the knobs - they are the Moog Knob Kit for their DFAM, M32, Subharmonicon. A bit pricey though, $35 for 25 knobs. They just started coming back in stock a week or two ago.

You can get essentially these exact Boss-style knobs, in all shapes & sizes, for dirt cheap from either LoveMySwitches, or Tayda for even cheaper (±0.50¢/piece).

Nice demo. When you turn the knob to change samples is it "fluent" or there is some visual/physical indication you changed the sample?

Thanks 🙏 no indication but the more I use it the easier it is to know when it changes based off the knob position - a little light or something would have been rad!

Logic adds some Metadata to the wav file when exporting. Unfortunately 2hp play tries to play that back. You can clean it, by deleting the Metadata in Audacity. Looks like you found another way though. Just wanted to mention it, since I had the same issue. Also - Mac OS creating small preview files that trips up 2hp play as well. Annoying. They should just ignore dotfiles I feel. Great module nonetheless. Nice demo. Never really looked at the pitch module.

Will pin this! I cleaned mine using Switch but same concept. Appreciate the kind comment, cheers!

fascinating stuff....and that station with all your modular stuff is so cool looking. Man, i love a rack of gear. showing my age i guess. really cool deep dive into this, Matnetik. Always great stuff, and always so easy on the eyes the way you film and edit your vids. Thanks as always for sharing a view into your world!!!!!!!

This is a comment I appreciate! It really has been quite the experience playing with eurorack and learning about sound, having a blast!
