Fidaa is unforgettable, and Bhanumathi is an iconic character. If you want to watch it only watch the Telugu version with English subtitles, because one of the main assets of Fidaa is SaiPallavi ma'am voice, her modulation in saying punch dialogues. I don't know how much you will get connected to the dialogues, people who know Telugu can able to enjoy her punch dialogues in Telangana dialect. The flavour may miss in sub-titles. But still you can watch the movie for the way how SekharKammula sir handled a cliched story in unconventional way and make us entertained throughout the movie. Fidaa is considered as Bahubali of small budget films in Telugu. SaiPallavi ma'am got her 2nd Filmfare award for Fidaa movie after Premam. Also her performance in Fidaa is listed in 100 greatest performances of the decade. It's 1st telecast happened at afternoon 12 pm slot, it got record TRP and 3rd highest TRP at that time just behind Magadheera and Bahubali with very small margin. Many people said if it is telecasted in night slot it would have been in 1st place. It got recorded TRP even after it's 5th telecast. It is said to be a movie with most repeat value even now. There were certain typical stereotypes in movies about how a village girl should be, how an NRI should be, how a father should be, how a big-brother should be, how a sister-in-law should be in movies. But SekharKammula sir broke all the stereotypes and showed the real life characters. It's very normal story line on the basic level, but still SaiPallavi ma'am performance and SekharKammula sir way of film-making turned it into a classic. Kudos to VarunTej for accepting this movie eventhough knowing that he need to down play and he also knows the movie is about heroine, he didn't cared about his family background or his image, he just liked the script and accepted to play the role. The movie is very good u must watch it but the songs are available only in Telugu movie but when u watch it in Hindi some beautiful clips r not shown as in Telugu movie
