The supermarket is Nigerian owned and the owner wasn't forced to import oyinbo foods, he did that on his own volition and demands from customers.
You have African stores that stock African foods abroad, in the UK, Tesco stock African food. I don't know about US. Supermarket is for Nigerians that want to stick to the brands they are used to abroad like you see from comment section.
As for branded food produced in Nigeria for Nigerians, ShopRite stock all Nigerian food produce and they have branches all over Nigeria. It is a South African store but franchise in Nigeria. As for prices, $1=N450. This is the third supermarket SisiYemmy has featured on her channel this year. You can watch the videos if you haven't.

Excellent video, naturally, imported goods will cost more than local products. It's the price you pay for buying foreign. This also happens in other countries i have lived in : The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago e.t.c.
The fact that some of these products are available in Nigeria, kudos to Ebeano!!!!
When i am in a country, i always prefer their local products, it's cheaper and helps the local economy
