That is literally so helpful! I tend to buy single Polychromos a lot since I can‘t afford/need a big set and now I know which colours to get next :)
Thanks for your great videos, they really help me to grow as an artist
Those colours make up a nice starter set of pencils that will work for many subjects 😃
There are so many great colors on Polychromos, for either Landscapes or any other kind of drawing, that I always find my self buying more. I begun with the set of 36, that I use something like half of them. I do mostly landscapes, which means I've ordered a lot more greens, browns and generally earthy colors. It's like the 4th time, that I have to order some more, because I draw a castle and the only one dark gray which also was the warm one, didn't provide the shades and colors I needed for that castle. Ivory, Greengold, Grays, Browns, Blue and Cobalt Turquoise for water like on rivers and sea, are a "must" buy if you're doing landscapes. If you're new to Polychromos, trust me, you're going to love them, so depending on what you're going to draw more, I suggest either build carefully your set of colours buying them individually, or get a small set and build on it. If I would do it again, I would choose the first choice, it will cost you less and in the same time, you'll have exactly the colors you need and not other that will just eat dust.
Great information! Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent information👏
Was thinking to buy one and this information can help me for buying one
Thank you
Excellent information!!!!
Good, detailed info!
Have you tried the Caran D’ache coloured pencils? They’ve been on my wish list for a while!
I have a smaller set of the Luminance ones that I really haven’t had an opportunity to test thoroughly yet. I’ve always planned on doing a detailed comparison video on various coloured pencil types at some point though.
My mostly used colours are the skin tone mostly.
200th like is mine
Very useful. I am not a color pencil artist, but I do like to sometimes add details to my watercolor illustrations.
