A Tiny Tunnels and Trolls Trip Episode 1: Deathtrap Equalizer - Intro and First Trip

Unfortunately, while TH-cam does let you edit videos you've posted, they do not currently allow the video's owner to adjust the volume. (Per a brief googling, apparently they used to have this feature, and there is much demand for it still, yet here we are...) Anyway onto the description:
Since it's been difficult to find large chunks of solo T&T time with everything else going in life, I've decided to record some Tunnels and Trolls solo adventures that are smaller in scope. So in this series that I'm calling Tiny Tunnels and Trolls Trips, I'll play mini-adventures such as the so-called Teleport Dungeons, that allow you to jump in and out relatively quickly. There are also other mini-adventures out there - I just have to dig them up and I'll play some of those, too.
This video specifically focuses on a quick trip into the second T&T solo adventure published: Deathtrap Equalizer by Ken St. Andre.
Here we spend about half the time on introductory stuff, but I expect future trips into Deathtrap Equalizer in this series will run much shorter. So this one is "less tiny" than future vids will be. But even with the intro, 35 minutes isn't too long compared to the roughly 1 to 2 hours we usually record.
Also featured in this video is a new setup with an upright book holder and a camera tripod. I've upgraded my phone since last time (so the camera is better) and I'm using a nice standalone microphone. I still have to get the hang of using a separate mic, but I think it sounds pretty good so far. Also I'm trying to edit more so you don't have to watch me fumble while flipping pages and such quite as much. So hopefully the end result is a cleaner, tighter viewing experience than my previous T&T videos.

Thank you for the reply Mark. Glad you were able to receive your Neo-Geo AES unit from your parents and have it in your possession. Happy to know that you like the idea. Sorry that your unit isn't working 100%, but I know members in the community that can be of assistance to help you to make sure your unit is back in playable condition Mark. Probably City of Terrors! Super deadly but also very fun because of all the over-the-top stuff that can happen. But I haven't played it in a very long time.
Oh great! Glad that you've been on AtariAge before. If you Google "The Official NEO-GEO Thread" you will see the links to it. It was established in 2014.

Hello Mark,
I was reading your comment you made on the 1991 Video Power clip and was amazed to see that you posted on there explaining that you still have your Neo-Geo AES that you won. By any chance, were you able to retrieve it from your parents basement? If so, maybe you would be interested on uploading a video regarding it to celebrate the 30th anniversary of you winning it.?

That’s a great idea Anthony! I did retrieve the Neo Geo but it has video issues. I tried cleaning the cartridge slot contacts, and the cartridge contacts themselves, but no luck so far. I’ll have to search for tips on what to try next. Hopefully I can get that done this year to celebrate its big 3-0. 😅
