My daughter’s hoverboard had a red light on and only one wheel would turn. I got inside of the thing and one of the wires was backwards. The little clip thing is made to go a certain way and it was backwards. Turned it around and it works perfect now.
what do you do for a wheel binded up? Also there is a piece broken off of another one and underneath is like an electrical board do you know how to get a piece to cover that?
Incidentally, in the event you find that there're metal filings hanging out on the surface of the magnets (or at their joints), you may be able to neatly remove the lot using 'fresh' chewing gum. Chew a piece until it's homogeneous in texture and still got some flavour, pull it from your mouth and press it onto the filings wherever you see them, and twist or roll the wad of gum. The gum should bind the filings with greater force than the magnets attract them.
I got the wheel out, switched it to the other wheel and found out that it was in fact the problem. I opened the wheel but I can't get the stator out. Is there another way to pull it out?
I have the same problem, I can get the clamp to disconnect the wheel off but can't get the wheel cover off the screws won't budge and are starting to strip, how can I get those screws out??
Yes because we don’t have anyone to fix them here I got one for Christmas and I bought in October so they didn’t use it till Christmas and 1 week later it locked up and they said my time was up to return it so be hover board not able to use thank you very much
Just wondering can't you use some kind of magnet to interfere with the connection to pull er out easier I no science states a stronger magnet will interfere with the current one but even any kind of magnetic material to put in the gap to make it easier to remove
I just had this problem I open mine and it's true the watcher got broken inside .. And the little pieces got my motor sticking ... So do I need to replace the watcher or not ?
Hi ser, I remove the casing off but the problem was that the motor is stuck on the casing. So basically axle and motor can not be detached. Dunno if manufacturers glued the casing and axle together. But thing for sure is how defuq am I going to get casing and axle apart?
I have a white hoverboard you have a jam tire and I don't know what to do with it my dad don't know how to fix it he think is a red blinking light on it and then he searched up on TH-cam and it didn't work so how do you fix a jam Tire
hey man we got what it sounds like a "loose little stone or stones" in one wheel and it is not completely stuck but it does not work properly as it is going crazy and looses the ability to keep balance, probably by the "stone" inside. It is possible to get something in there from the road or it is most likely an internal part that got loose..like the broken washer of the video. Thanks!
I have the same issue, in my case the outer plate is constructed of translucent plastic to allow light given off by a ring of LEDs to shine through which is also the support structure for the outer bearing: the support structure for the bearing had broken and the sound of "little stones" tumbling inside the wheel is actually pieces of the now broken outer bearing housing tumbling around. I wish that the outer housing was metal as shown in the video, it would have been a lot more durable. Currently looking for a way to fix this, the bearing is 35.00mm OD; maybe a 3D-printed solution exists, but for the time being I'm stuck with a broken wheel.
I've had the wheel out and it's still notchy without being fitted to the hoverboard so we have ordered another wheel for it hopefully the control board is OK as its the same out as in connected points to a wheel problem any comments welcomed I'm new to fixing these items
Can you answer this. Mine wasn’t really stuck but it would go slow then faster then slow than faster. And I just kept going fast trying to fix it but it ended up making a noise now the red light won’t stop blinking

Use a screwdriver and a hammer. While you twist the screwdriver use the hammer to hit it....this will deliver the impact to the screw while you twist, it works!!
You just have to pull it out why you open it I recrmrnd that you clean both sides of the hoverboards like that little Gap in between the wheel it really helps in my case it won't damage it because I have super long hair and it's always in mine just pulled as hard as you can
Idk what to do so..ok I was riding my hoverboard and we'll...there was a cord on the ground I didn't are and I ran over it and now the wire is legit stuck on the wheel inside the rim..

Put the wheel on the ground, stand on the edges and pull up with a large pair of pliers...that magnet will let go 😁

If its blocked, just switch the 3 color wires... worked for me
