NOTE: If you missed the "Understandings" achievement/trophy like me, you must start a quick new game in another slot to reach that part again. It should take 30 minutes or less. Check: th-cam.com/video/bb_VGgrygoM/w-d-xo.html
I had a strat for Lightning Nightmare during Ultimate Trial that makes it really easy. Just attack him with Blue till you have a technique ready, then to switch it to your shield (Hold Space + Hold D on keyboard). Since he always uses a fusion attack you can Guard Impact it (Hold R) every time. After you use Guard Impact just repeat, that is, build a technique and switch it to shield. If your timing is right you can even keep a technique on your sword after switching it your shield allowing you to use Chosen Arrow (SHIFT + R), but even without it you can fill up his absorption tank without ever worrying about him hitting you. (Sorry for double commenting, felt like this deserves it's own comment, in case people needed help with this one in particular.)
Man that path holy Shitballs I died every freaking way possible getting to that fight hahahaha so glad it’s done but now the fight. Also the secret boss thank you again for your efforts!!
I'd just like to point out that when fighting Summum, using Counterspell, in addition to interrupting his attacks, reveals what his guard are. Very useful so you waste less time figuring out what to hit him with. Especially on the part where he has a halo above him which heals damage to his guards. (Counterspell is when you press D after Assimilation of a magical attack with Orange, and Assimilation is when you hold R while his left hand glows blue. I played on a keyboard, don't know keybindings for a gamepad) I mention this because unless I missed it you didn't use Counterspell after using Assimilation on his magic attacks in your fights against Summum. I don't know if Blue's counterpart to this works, that is, if you can use Counter (Press D after Guard Impact (Hold R when the shield glows)) and reveal his guards, I haven't tried it since I mostly defended with Orange against Summum.
Thanks for pointing out the info, yes I didn’t use it because I saved my healings strategically, for example I use one before Summum steals your counterpart, since if you don’t use it the Red characters will Counterspell you in the battle against him. Anyway what I did to fast reveal the weaknesses without waiting for a counterspell is to quickly throw two spells + assist (R2 in controller) which reveals guaranteed one of the weaknesses so you have a better start against him. Using that you probably reveal 3-4 weaknesses in one turn.
@@BlackTorito Yeah, saving the Assimilation for the right moment is important, but Counterspell can only be used after a successful Assimilation anyway, so anytime you Assimilate a magic attack it's a good idea to Counterspell. I mean, you obviously beat Summum three times without it 😁, just thought I'd point out that in case anyone is struggling.
@@BlackTorito Wonderful! Thank you for the amazing guides for this game. I’m in the final stretch now thanks to your help :). I’m just trying to get used to healing now since I used the blue guy almost exclusively during the game haha
Nope, not known at least. God has an absorption sphere that fills briefly but its impossible to do anything else. I think its supposed to end like that, resembling the Big Bang.

After doing the path and reaching Summum, do you need to re-do the path if you leave and come back to fight him later?
No, you don’t, there is a door that leads to him now

@@williammuirhead6927 thank you! Good luck with the final challenges, they are pretty tough but you’ll slowly overcome them :)
@@BlackTorito Thank you! Do you by chance know why the mega flare is killing me? I know it’s supposed to reduce my hp to 1, but it keeps killing me
@@williammuirhead6927 you need to be above a certain threshold, maybe 3/4 of a full bar or more slightly
Is there a true ending?
