I need to say this....I’m 56 years old and started in the building business for my family at 12 working summers, weekends and holidays and never have I seen a woman carry osb or plywood up a ladder. 80% of the guys I work with today couldn’t do that. You my friend are the modern day superwoman and I’m sure there is many women who work as hard as you. For this you guys have me as a subscriber....plus I love the banter and the hole family works hard.

2:58. I had always wondered if that was part of your history, Erin, because of the graceful way you move. And also your strength, now enhanced by all that building work. Slinging sheets of OSB about like you at 1:28... wow! Those are heavy (in my case it was handling seemingly endless sheets of 17mm [3/4") ply, so 'heavy' is the voice of experience).
I can't wait to see the house complete especially the glass front with that view. I have my wife hooked on your channel as well she watches over my shoulder when I am watching an episode.

I've never been fond of A-frame homes BUT yours looks AWESOME with the dormers. (That's what they need in my opinion.) I love where they are usually located, often being in the mountains surrounded by trees. For me the dormers make all the difference in the world. Gives you more "usable" space inside and it breaks up the roof line giving the home character. You two are doing an awesome job on this build and love the teasing between the two of you. Safe building and fair weather!

Great job of sheating up high, 99.9% have no clue how high up 16-20' above a sloped hill looks or feels like. When walking up high I always leaned into the house, it being a "broken leg fall" vs. outside which I refer to as the "para or quadriplegic fall"! Hey get some carpenter's nail bags for both of you plus a "joist hook" for the nail gun. You can hang the gun from your bags while on a ladder or even to the ladder.... great job you two, the new doorway pop out looks balanced on the A-Frame, actually really gooood! 😉
Daniel Oliver and roofing 2 stories above a sloped hill on a house with roof pitches of 12/12 16/12 and 20/12 is absolutely blood freezing. That job was terrible because all the sheathing was rotten and needed replacement. Ugh just remembering it gives me chills.
