These videos are like friggin’ kryptonite to my damn wallet.
Love me some good old stress shopping! I have done my fair share of stress shopping, I don’t even want to fully admit how many decks I’ve purchased in just the last three months alone. I just can’t help myself though. I whole heartedly enjoy this spiritual journey and practice I’ve been on for about a year and a half and working with these decks is so rewarding in many ways, even when working with my call out no nonsense, no sugar coating shit decks, it’s all just a profound experience. It doesn’t take much to make me happy, coffee and decks and I’m a happy camper.
Maybe it’s just me but does anyone like to always have a deck coming to you? Lol. I feel like I just love it when I know I’m expecting decks in the mail. I’m still very much at the beginning stages and I have that balls to the wall, I must purchase and work with all the decks. I tried a no buy, then a slow buy, that was an absolute joke lol.
Anyway, great video Lisa. Hoping to finally make a livestream soon!
My understanding about the Goetia deck is that when it first came out as a Kickstarter, you could get a much better guidebook to go with it. But the Goetia itself is like a guidebook to the demons. Once you look up what the demon is supposed to do, it would be really easy to work back to a meaning in a reading.
I'd LOVE if you did a deep dive walkthrough with the Journey Tarot! Always love watching your videos 😊

The bonus deck for the im here oracle would work great for magical practice. Using planets and zodiacs for the energy of that timing when you cant wait for the planets to align. Same with plants that you cant get a hold of before your spell but still want to include. I would personally place the card under a clear glass plate from dollar tree and do spell work on the plate. Inhope this helps give you some ideas 💡

I bet the I'm Here cards would pair well with Dream Visions Tarot. I didn't back it, but I would try the extra deck as altar cards, spellwork cards, or a focus energy for a reading.
I think I'm gonna use the bonus from the I'm Here Kickstarter as journaling cards and put them in my journals etc.

Regarding The Everyday Witch Oracle I've done it like this:
First I colour coded the elements in the guidebook like I do with my tarot books with small self-stick index notes the colours that I use.
Then I took out a permanent marker in black and wrote on the card like this on the banner:
1. The suit first letter (F/W/A/E).
2. The number of the card in the guidebook.
3. After the title I drew the elemental symbol (so I can practice my memory of it).
The card then looks like this:
F 5. Fire Magic ∆
This works for me and I find it's a bit easier for me to consult the guidebook.

I am always excited when I see you have a new video out. This was fun! I have the Kickstarter Indie versions of the Goetia and Notoria. The Goetia guidebook has a full page photo of the card and a half a page write up on the demon and how it corresponds to the tarot and lists the attributions. I also love that the cards are rainbow holographic which makes the detail pop.
I got the Sacred She Tarot because the art is so beautiful. I was also first happy to see that the guide book refers to both RWS and Thoth cards in card descriptions but then noticed that there are mistakes. For some reason the RWS Pages are grouped with Thoth Princes and RWS Knights are grouped with Thoth Princesses and that drives me crazy. This happens in each suit. It must be a misprint, surely nobody actually connects them like that. And I agree with the production value, the quality is not very good. But I will use them at least sometimes because of the art.

I almost ordered the I'm Here deck because of your video and THANK GOODNESS I didn't. That amount of money is a lot in my country, and I'd have felt so cheated by how the creator handled it.

Lovely decks, I love how 'catered for' everybody is in tarot.
The size of the Mystic Palette tarot also surprised me when it arrived. I was NOT expecting it to be such a large boi. XD But I love the sepia tones. I've edged it in deep red and it looks glorious.
I’m excited about the planned EW familiars oracle, as I have had the EW tarot and oracle for ages
I have the Kickstarter version for the Goetia Tarot, and the book has a full write up for each demon.
I bought the Notoria. Not into the Goetia. I could see the Angelarium paired with the Goetia
I’m beyond thrilled with the journey tarot. It’s beautiful quality and I’m obsessed with the magnifying glass not only cuz it’s cute but it’s nice for seeing these lovely deep details. I actually think it’s quite deep and meaningful, but I do feel it’s more for intermediate readers. It doesn’t hold your hand in a basic deck way, but it does with compassion. I love seeing the journey thru the cards, which isn’t always obvious. So I disagree with those that say it should be Oracle. It’s a fabulous tarot. Love it. Would love to see a deep dive of it. As for tarot of the moon garden, one of my favs. It’s one deck I do like the borders on, but I’d also like the new version just to compare. I wonder from anyone who has both, is the new book the same as the one for the old one? I never got the book for the old one, but want it. If they’re the same, that’d be badass. I’m shocked you got the goetia. I hope it’s fun to work with for you. As always, this was so fun. I always enjoy hearing your thoughts and impressions. Thanks Lisa!❤

I loved all of these and I interested in the Messages from Her Oracle. Since Janelle identifies as they/them AND she/her, including her in the deck was appropriate.
So interesting that you are showing the Goetia etc tarots...I’ve just acquired the Travis ‘ Angels’ tarot and he is going to bring our an ‘angels and daemons’ oracle later this year. Admittedly I’m not really into ‘angels’ but these decks are well researched ,theoretical and detailed to an almost scary degree.. I’ve not studied my deck properly yet but I believe these are based on the sephiroth also..
The Mystic Palette looks gorgeous and really wondering about tarot of a moon garden.
I have to admit I decluttered the Everyday witch oracle as I found the cards did not work for me even with the tarot which I adore.

I’d love to see a better look at the everyday with oracle please. I’ve seen plenty of flips and quick walkthroughs but they’ve never swayed me enough to get it, even though I’ve wanted it since it came out 😂 I get the impression that the deck has some sort of system or suits, maybe I’m wrong but I haven’t seen a good enough look to see if I’m right or wrong about that. ❤
Deep dive with Dante's Inferno Oracle pleaaseee~
I read the 9 of pentacles as a state of independence - after the hard work of the preceding 7/8 of pentacles I’ve finally reached a point where I’m self sufficient. “My efforts have been rewarded and I’m comfortable now”, but not to the point of indulgence so I don’t think that keyword would work for me on a 9 of pentacles personally.
I could see indulgence as an aspect of 9 of cups (whereas i couldn’t reconcile it in the pentacles suit at all really), but idk if I’d choose it for the ✨main ✨ 9oC keyword. 9oC for me represents a wish unexpectedly coming true, it’s that state of bliss when I get something I deeply wanted - but didn’t necessarily expect to get. So I could see it being more “indulgent” than the 9oP because 9oP is the reward after working long and hard for something (so it’s the reward expected), but in the 9oC I don’t necessarily have to have put in all that work to have that wish granted.
Idk if that makes sense but I tried to put words to how I see the two 😂
The everyday witch was my first tarot. I love it…however I edged it and it bled onto the front of the cards 😢
Hi Lisa, feel lucky to have received your second deck for the I am here oracle. As I never received the second deck. Most likely I am guessing because I live in Australia. So some country may have also missed out on the second deck. It would have been nice for the creator to place a sorry note in the box and explain it in some way. Like due to cost reasons to Australia we are unable to send the second deck. As there was a choice made about only sending the 1 deck. Just would have been nice. Terri from Australia 🦘💜 🇦🇺

I got the indie full color Mystic Palette, and I hate the way it's made. The stock feels like plastic, and the gilding sticks out over the edge of the card. I'm thinking I might get the MM, because it's a gorgeous deck, and I really want to use it more.
OMG I **just** got the Mausolea deck second-hand from Reflections! I *really* don't like the people cards, especially Abraham and Shakespeare *really* take me out of it. The others I'm more okay with, especially The Exile (maybe because he doesn't have a face?) and The Traveler (which I **think** is actually not based on a real person, so I guess that's why).
I'd like to see you work with the Goetia and Dantes inferno. I get put off from buying these types of decks because I think I won't be able to read so much darkness all at once. If you know what I mean Lisa. I don't want to feel overwhelmed but I would love to try these darker decks
In the Journey tarot I think the magnifying glass is because of the teeninsy details in the cards. Cosmic Slumber? I backed the Journey as well. I am more and more convinced it would have been better as an oracle. Not sure what I am going to do with mine.
I love the art on Journey tarot but I haven’t been able to pull the trigger because I’m also leaning towards the “seems more like an oracle than tarot system” category. I’m not sure I’d actually use it regularly if I were to buy it (although it’s beautiful!), and at that price I can’t buy a deck that’s just pretty. I’ve been working on downsizing my collection over the last year, trying to keep it to mostly decks I will use…even if some only get used in specific situations 😅.
Funny you mentioned Cosmic Slumber - I have that one in my “to be sold/traded” pile atm! I absolutely LOVE the majors and the art style is beautiful but I can’t work with some of the minors - I’ve even tried to read them in a more numerological way instead of RWS (which the guidebook abides by), but a lot of the images don’t even fit a numerological interpretation so I’m just gonna let it go I think.
Not every pretty deck has to be for me atp, and I’m ok with that…I can’t keep up with releases if I needed every deck with gorgeous art! 😂

It always bugs me that people never include Betty Friedan in their female oracle decks. She was one of the founders of NOW.
Lol, always tons of info on angels and zilch on demons. Even the decks that call themselves demon decks, the Daemon Tarot, Fallen Angel Oracle, etc... don't really give us much. Here's my opinion. Many demons are just gods and heroes from other cultures and religions. The idea was to scare people away from the old ways and steer them towards Catholicism. Still, it's a worthy but exhausting rabbit hole. I think I need the Tarot of the Moon Garden. That one has been on the list for a minute...😂

Three of swords is Saturn in Libra, think you said the guidebook had it as Jupiter. Anyway, small thing but now I’m married to the system the way I learned it. Heheh. ❤😊n
I backed the I’m Here deck and I will NEVER purchase from Murphy Pines again! I backed this in January of 2022 y’all. It literally took two years to get this and that was not expected. I think what I found most frustrating is that because it took two years to get the deck, I wasn’t even excited when it finally arrived in the mail. The original intentions that I had at the time I backed it aren’t as strong and prevalent now. It’s interesting because my journey with Tarot and Oracle has changed so much in two years and so I have to figure out how I am going to use the deck now in my current practice. Hopefully I will be able to connect with it for inner child work. I’m not quite sure how to use the bonus deck either lol it’s so random.
You didn’t purchase the deck, you choose to back its production the good, bad & ugly this includes any production hiccups along the way because you want to be a patron of the arts. In return for your support the project , you got a copy of the finished product in return.
@@MsPrettyVermin Ah, PrettyVermin, I see your point! However, let's not confuse 'patron of the arts' with 'passenger on the never-ending journey of production hiccups.' While I absolutely chose to back the project and support the arts (a badge I wear with pride), the expectation set wasn't for an odyssey that spans two years. We were definitely given the impression that production was MUCH further along than it actually was. I only backed it because I saw Lisa's walkthrough of the prototype and loved it. If you go back through her videos, you'll see that was 2 years ago. Cheers for the deck, though! It did eventually find its way, navigating through the 'good, bad, and the ugly.' But thanks for your two cents!
I don't like decks that use people who are still alive as "voices" for a card. Unless those people were specifically asked what kind of message they want to share with an audience - and, just as importantly, were asked for their consent to show up in a deck like this - it's just kind of presumptuous and iffy to me, to be honest.
Which is a shame, because the production quality of the deck looks great!
My issue with the Messages from Her Oracle is that it incoulds Janelle Monáe who is nonbinary and while I love seeing more gender non comfoming people seeing a female-presenting person misgender upsets me.
Janelle said she uses she/her AND they/them. They're not locked into just one pronoun so including her in the deck was appropriate.
There's other stuff I dislike about this deck, but to be honest my real issue is including the You card in there. Personally, if I'd gotten the deck without knowing or someone had given it to me as a gift I would feel extremely upset at someone assuming I also use she/her or I'm also a woman (because let's be honest, Janelle is the only nonbinary person in the deck and it also says Messages from Modern Women). Something that's supposed to be empowering would've made me feel bad.
I know 90% of the people that get this deck won't have that emotional issue, but I wish tarot creators would keep in mind that not everyone is a woman or is interested in divine feminine stuff, and that doesn't mean they aren't a feminist. I just wish we at least got a bit more variety, with more divine masculine or genderqueer representation (not just completely ungendered decks or a mix of genders, cause it's just not the same).
