I don't usually leave comments, but this was an awesome series for beginners like myself. It definitely helped set a great foundation to build off of. I feel competent enough to build a basic track in Ableton now. Thank you for the great content :D
Hi Ski, this 6-part series is simply the BEST I found so far for someone who got Ableton Live LITE(!) and needs a helping hand to get started! Why? Well, you explain a lot of different topics in a way that is very easy to follow and you're using ONLY instruments that are included in Live Lite (apart from the vocals that can be downloaded for free - and the audio recording of your Korg minilogue can easily be replaced by a midi track) and of course you respect the 8 track limit of Live Lite! Every other "Get started with Ableton Live" tutorial I saw was using instruments that are not present in Live LITE and/or using more than 8 tracks. :( With your video I could reproduce everything what you did almost 1:1 and this is extremely helpful! And I have to say that the final result is very nice. So, THANKS A LOT for this video series!
Thank you, I wasted my time watching 10 other videos first, the people who made them left out all the little details that caused more confusion, I assume intentionally. You rock
Thank you so much for this series. Following along I was able to make a song in one evening after picking up my MiniLab 3 in the afternoon. As someone with very little experience with these types of programs, I am truly impressed with what I was able to create with your fantastic instructions and guidance. Appreciate all the hard work you put into this series and thank you greatly!
Really enjoyed watching this series. I particularly appreciated your calm relaxed delivery style - concentrating on instruction rather than trying to be an entertainer like so many of the other tutorials on TH-cam. Thank you for taking the time.
Fabulous tutorial for an absolute beginner like me! You showed in a pretty concise fashion all the different foundations which are required to get a track done! I like that I finally understood the relation between the arrangement view and the session view! Fantastic work with these tutorials.
This is perfect for complete beginners, obviously I want to learn everything over time but a lot of other people try to cover every single thing in ableton and the thing is I really want to just learn enough to play around some and go from there. Already made 3 tracks yesterday and craving more thanks for posting this series
Great series of videos. I finally know what a button is🙄. Been searching for this info in a decent format for the past month. Finally, .....Awesome! Thank you!
Great series, thank you! I already learned some basic I'm gonna use for my band. Now, I wanted to ask you, or some clever follower of you, about the best way to record a band rehearsal just using "one microphone in the room"?

Hi. trying to remix using effects on one track. Im struggling !!! Your videos are by far the best. Hard to follow others. Total beginner here.
