At 1:34 we have Lewis Arquette. Mr. Arquette had several children more famous than he, and his Dad, Cliff played a character, Charlie Weaver, who was all over TV in the Sixties. The only other persons I can think of who had a parent and a child more famous than themselves were William Henry Harrison's son and Felix Mendelssohn's father. I'm sure there are many other examples.
It's been 23 years since the death of Aaliyah and I'm still in shock...my friend told me she had passed that day, but I told her...stop lying until I heard and saw it on the news that day, my ❤ just dropped, I enjoyed her music, I hate her demise had to be so early...R.I.P. Ms. Houghton
One thing I love about this format is the second or two pause when the picture appears so viewers can self-answer "umm - is that ... I know who that is ... that's the sergeant on Hogan's Heroes [or President Eisenhower or whatever]". Also the surrounding cast members or context in muted illumination on the side - I LIKE IT. Never change just for the sake of change!
Let's hope this revised 2001 death list adds to it Buddy Marquette sweetheart Cathy Rigby's gymnastics coach and Earl Anthony greatest EVER pro bowler! (Two others I'd like to see on that new list: Heywood Hale Broun veteran Triple Crown horse race analyst who coined the phrase "Controversy is the food of sport" and Jim Godman 12 time pro bowling champion and first dual Firestone Tournament Of Champions winner.)
Beatrice Straight Poltergeist. Imogene Coca Vacation 1983. Carroll O'Conner In the Heat of the Night. Jack Lemmon had 2 Oscars. Maureen Reagan President's daughter. Typo on Mychal Judge's entry: city with 2 ii's.
I really like your videos but I have to say that describing John Phillips as "the father of Mackenzie Phillips" and then leaving out what he did to her is just unacceptable.
I disagree. I would disagree as inappropriate for the work of this channel even if it was accepted by more than say Jokipedia. But worse, I don't believe this is anything more than a proven drug addict's he said/she said. John's wife - and McKenzie's mother - reject your matter-of-factly ranted "theory", does she not?
Nice touch adding the WTC to the thumbnail (not sure if it's in the video yet!).

September 11th - a day I will never forget. May the victims of this horrific tragedy always be loved and remembered.
I love the music you chose to go with this. It just fits in so well. It really does tell us how short life is so live it to the fullest. ❤❤

Excellent video, thank you.

BTW, just found the channel today, and subbed. Me like.
Thank you
Thanks for the 2.0. Merry Christmas to all.
An omission: Legendary blues musician John Lee Hooker died the same day as Carroll O'Connor, June 21, 2001.
You're right. How could I have missed y=that. Thanks for mentioning it.

This was the year where history changed……
After 9/11, nothing’s been the same.

Joey Ramone ❤ 6:00
23 years ago the most tragic part of America's history happened I well keep the promise alive to never forget 🙏
I was still in San Antonio, Texas that year.
Dorothy McGuire was not one of the McGuire sisters, she was an actress long before the sister act came on. Otherwise, very well done.
How eerily prescient Dale Earnhardt's words were
is there anyway to make a wrestling deaths version and also Never Forget 9/11
Yes. In the New Year I will be doing some specials such as the one you suggested.
Unfortunately there are plenty to include in that 😢
@@terenceglynn100 And I just heard that Rey Misterio, Sr. has passed.
@@inmemoriam2000 I had not heard. Another gone way too soon.
@@inmemoriam2000 and Rickey Henderson today also. An MLB legend.
George Harrison Died November 21st 2001 not November 29th
