@@Hyde209 , I remember getting my hands on The Tick game on Sega, but it was my cousin's and I had to give it back, and, oddly enough, I couldn't find it anywhere for my parents to buy me my own cartridge. I was in love with the musical theme from the first stage. The night before I had to give the cartridge back, I recorded, like, 20 minutes of that music on repeat. :) Oh, and there was that game called Nightmare Circus, too. It was extremely hard for me and I failed to make much of a progress, but I recorded the entire OST from the options and enjoyed it till my walkman ruined the tape.
@@Counterbalance_ Thanks for sharing that story 😃 Yeah we used to rent SEGA games all the time me and my brother. Pretty much all games with a sound test was a given for recording the music onto cassettes 😅 I think those were the seads that put me on the whole "arrange VGM" track.
I love this game to death. I could never beat it as a kid, and when I played it recently course I had to kick the nes by mistake and lose all my progress. I was on the last level, too!
Yeah it's a classic alright. I watched my older brother beat it a couple of times back then but I think I've only beaten it once with a little help from the stage select code 😅
@@Hyde209 I actually didn't finished the game back then, so I heard this track years later. The one that I absolutely love is the mushroom forest (level 1)
Aww, yeah. Thanks for this! I'm not exaggerating, this is my favorite remix of this piece. Not only does this take me back to the game, but the SOUND of it takes me back elsewhere. In a good way. I ramble! Nice work.
When i seen the new remix from my notifications. I was hooked from this remix, Great as always Hyde. It's been a while since you last uploaded a VGM remix.
@@cinderacefan2354 Cool. It's a dream worth aiming for. Start small though. I begun with a MIDI-keyboard and a free DAW. There's tons of good plugins and VSTs for free these days. I've built up my gear over many years and when it comes down to the core I still mostly use one synth with MIDI and free plugins today 😅
This is one of my favourite covers to Nightmare land. Little Nemo had one of the best soundtracks out of many NES games, and this melody was the top one. BTW all music in this game was written by Junko Tamiya (民谷 淳子). She also composed music for many other games published by Capcom.
At the time of my childhood, I can never make it to nightmare land with out cheating with game genie. I had to listen to that awesome catchy nightmare land theme!
So here's a bit of trippy stuff. I've never played this game before. So to me, this sounded entirely original, and I must say, the track is incredibly omynous and beautiful. 🥲 So glad you introduced me to your channel, bro. Edit: RENE300O's footage was fun haha. Loved the headbanging 🤘🏼
Thank you so much 🤗 I made this track for my older brother last year and he really liked it. We haven't seen eachother for over a year now due to covid. Really glad too that our paths crossed. Thank you for your kind words.
This rocks my childhood right out! Favorite track of the game.
Ah the memories.
Indeed 😊 I played this game alot as a kid. Played it with my own kids the other day too. The circle is complete 😅
Wish there was like a 20 minute extended of this ;-;
Nostalgia Hits Hard😭❤️
I'm glad. I feel the same 👍
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Hope you like it buddy 😉
I thought I was the only one who used to record game music on cassette tapes. :) I feel nostalgic now.
Nope. Many of us did back then 😉 A way to have the game with you after playing. The OG VGM-compilations right there.

Sure ya were…
this game has awesome music
I agree 😃👍 Capcom NES games usually have some splendid tracks and this game have quite a few gems I must say. Glad you like my take.

What a nice surprise, good to have you back! Again something I have never heard of or listened to and it's awesome, thanks!
Thanks buddy 😃 Yeah it's a bit of a Capcom hidden gem this game.
Oh man one of my favourites. Awesome stuff!
I'm glad. It is a really good track to begin with 😊

=) Thanks man! It means a lot to me. I'll post an update video soon explaining my sudden absence and the future of my channel.

Yeah she worked on Strider Hiryu too 👍

Sounds like a dungeon track from phantasy star vi or so. Nicely done.
Thanks. Yeah that might be so. I personally hear a lot of resemblance with Junkos work on the Strider arcade soundtrack 😅
are people allowed to use you music if the credit you, im talking about the metroid music
