Walking Lake Dan Nature Preserve - The Red Trail

Enjoy this morning walk to and from Lake Dan, the namesake of this newer nature preserve in Odessa. Covering more than 1100 acres, this nature preserve encompasses lakes, former cow pastures, and oak hammocks. On this walk, we cross the first lake from the parking lot and take the red trail which is a loop.
