ISLAMISM IN INDIA Let's look into the contemporary history of Indian invasion with specifics into Islamist actions post 1900: 1173: Ghasni from Afgan expanded tiil pretty close to the then boarders 1175 ~ 1206: Ghori the first muslim invader to the Indian soil 1206 ~ 90: The Slave dynasty 1290 ~ 1320: Khilji 1320 ~ 1413: Thuglak 1414 ~ 51: Sayyed 1451 ~ 1526: Lodhi 1526: Baber defeats Ibrahim Lodhi to establish Mogul (1526 ~ 1757) But extended till 1857 (Bahadur Shah II) under EIC 1757: Post Aurangzeb era and submission of Moguls to EIC {An interesting snippet from Mogul history is that Aurangzeb was 3rd son of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan, whom he jailed to death. In fact the 1st son was Dara Shukoh, who was a free mind got killed by Aurangzeb in 1659, sentenced as an apostate to Islam! Dara was a great mind who translated 50 Upanishads to Persian, known as "Sirr-e-Akbar"!!!} It is evident that right from early 1200s to late 1700s for about 600 years most of India but for a small subset of southern peninsular was governed under various muslim rulers of Turkish, Afghan and Mangol origin. This obviously left marks good and bad in the social fabric of India as for the first time Indian psyche experience what an organized religion is that is semitic! Now let's look into post 1857, the first Independence struggle, that was more of less fought together by Hindus and Muslims against the British rule... As the Brits experience the wrath of the joint force, they devised the divide and rule... They found it easy as Islam as a sect is inherently averse to integrate with the mainstream, by their book. The organized communalism post 1900: 1906: Inception of Muslim Leegue, the VERY FIRST communal org in India 1915: Hindu Maha Sabha 1925: RSS 1941: Jamaat e Islami (Then there were flurries of them especially the numerous Islamist orgs post 1992, till date....) 1946 ~ 50: Riots related to the India Pak division... Post Gandhi assassination it subsided for a decade 1961: Jabalpur Riot that rocked the nation!!! There were reports of Pak intelligence hands in this as wealthy local muslim industrialists were involved... This was not taken lightly by Hindus as post Pak, anything of this nature was considered insult to the existing injury!!! (Nehru intervenes to create National Integration Council, NIC) 1964: All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, AIMMM was created as an insult to NIC, just as Nehru died! This was seen as a sectarian and separatist move as MMM creators wanted muslim specific board! This was extremely crucial in the nation spread growth of RSS, as they were successful in projecting the muslim leadership's denial of secular NIC to create MMM which is communal based. 1972: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) was created by muslim orgs with just Urdu and English as official language was seen as challenge to the secular constitution of India of 1950! This was NOTHING BUT a dubious move for permanent back door entry of Shariya laws into the constitution. This was almost the last nail as it proved with no doubt that muslims are against ANY kind of reformations and progressive movements which fueled for further propaganda and expansion of RSS. 1985: Shah Bhanu Beegum verdict by SCI. Muslim leadership took stubborn stand to oppose even the final verdict from SCI!!! This stance was instrumental for Parivar orgs to challenge SCI rulings in Ram janma bhoomi case in 1989 and Shabari case of 2018... 1986: SIMI called for "Indian Liberation Thru Islam!!!" 1988: SIMI called to Reinstate the Caliphate!!! 1987: Sayyid Shihabudeen MP called to boycott the Republic day!!! 1989: Sulaiman Sait, President of IUML and MP at Pakistan gave a speech saying "Muslims all across India is in threat" Then there were numerous series of blasts and subotages including Bombay, Coimbatore, Delhi et all.... Without these backdrop of history one cannot truly assimilate and comprehend how we have reached what we see today. In fact if it goes this same way it wudnt be too far off even South including Keralam goes by the sentiments of rest of nation, as our state has become a fertile fanatic land!!! Jai hind!
