Taylor described the song as when you're falling for someone & you know that it's dangerous and you know that it could really, really, really, really, really, just annihilate you if it were to not work out. And it could possibly not work out - and it probably wont work out - but you go for it anyway... My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE lyric from it is: forever going with the flow but, you're friction. 🥰

Also, you might consider that all of these songs were co-written with Max Martin and Shellback. For the re-record, she got Shellback back in for the production of the songs he worked on back then.
