@@opalAdventures Gday mate ,, I’ve been subbed for a long time , you only had a few subs when I found you ,your content is great I really enjoy it , my advice from being a smaller channel is put out at least one video a week , it will help yt push you in the algorithm, even if it’s a bit of a history video of the town or a interview with some fellow miners , that’s if you can’t film digging , You have real potential with this channel if your constantly posting ( try to release on the same day each week and same time of day for each video, your subscribers will get used to it and watch more ) , really hope this helps you and the channel out , keep diggin be safe and hope you hit the jackpot mate 🤘🤘
Yeah i was disappointed to drop the ball a bit in the last couple of months after getting a little momentum. I know I should be uploading weekly just didn't manage lately. Will keep trying, thanks for your advice and from being around from the beginning!
Glad to be here , it’s not often you get to seen these type of small miner operations stuff , oh that old lister , from what I know of them from working on them , they are usually really reliable , hope you get it started up 🤘
New sub here just found your channel greeting from New Chum just off the tip road here (down thirty ft or so with one known level below) grey beard but still mining also Opal FM Saturday mornings and Tues arvos. That's an amazing old Lister gen indeed worth doing some work on they go forever. Ahh willy not nelsons old gen he was a loss indeed the spirit of a truly great man and muso. Ah Harry know him well . Water tank had one doing that jacked it up and propped it worked 4 me .
Lol but in fact, it's only certain trees from certain areas that can get used for props (I don't actually know them I'll ask one of the other guys in a future video) so that's not really the case everyone chopped down the trees for their props, but that is funny to imagine. When there was no rain for 7 years there were no greenery at all but now it's been raining again the greenery and trees are back, but the trees are somewhat sparser compared to the low lowing black soil farming areas around the ridge probably due to harder dirt / poor soil of the ridge area.
I haven't found too much yet - but i've done both, i can't cut and polish myself yet (I need to get my ow equipment, wheels first) I've been getting other people i know like Otto (from previous videos) to do it for me.
Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe, we really appreciate it!!!!!

Welcome! Harry Bibby is my next door neighbour & Kiwi has a claim at New Chum which he hasn't put a hole down on yet.
Now I know why there's few trees in Lightning Ridge....

7:52 look on the bright side it is a nice blue potch, could make something out of that
Yeah Someone could I guess - I want to learn to carve but haven't yet
Do you sell opal as uncut or do you do your own polishing ?
