The 3d printing story is the biggest reason why you need to keep the News going. I was unaware and I'm sure many were not as well. Keep up the good Josh. This is the one show that always about RC's and the industry!!!👍👍👍
FMS has upgraded axles with better portal layou for better clearance, clear windows, upgraded gearbox, 4 link in the front, lights and far superior radio and esc
Most people can't even print a benchy, I don't think they should worry too much about ghost items.
And over 99.9% of drone/air guys don’t do anything with their stuff but need to be FAA registered. Someone else trying to make it look like their protecting us with more regulation.
I just got to the point my setup prints a bench immaculately. lol I just printed a camera lens hood perfectly. You are 100 percent correct.
Hi what's a bench and what's a ghost honk
@@machinedreddon’t know what a benchy is but the “ghost honk” they are talking about making lowers for firearms without a serial number making them a “ghost gun”
There I was, this morning, standing with my heals against the outside of the bridge railing. Looking down at the cold choppy water 120 feet down. I decided to check TH-cam one last time.....HOLY CRAP SNU is BACK BABY!!!. I crawled backed to my warm car and enjoyed today's episode. Thanks, Josh. You're a life saver ❤
😆😅😂🤣
This is like a Tuesday morning ritual for me! I do a whole routine to get ready to watch. This is the first show I look at on youtube!
Our reps don't rep anything except their own interests!
Thank you so much for continuing SNU.
For what it's worth, your work is appreciated.
At this point, it is a true institution in scale and scale-ish RC.
Also here are the hearts you didn't ask for on facebook:
❤❤❤❤❤
Josh. 1st of all, a HUGE Thank You for putting in the time to research/assemble/produce the videos for the "Scale News Updates". These videos are what keep us all informed about the world of RC. I myself, look forward to each weekly release and enjoy the content provided. I have gone back and re-watched many of the "Scale News" videos for the entertainment of them and will probably continue to do so.
!!--== Cheers to 301 ==--!!
Was anyone else sitting in traffic wondering who was beeping at them?😂😂😂 the scale news… Always nice to bring along on a long commute.
I got the FMS 2 days before it was released from my LHS. I never got a trx4 and I'm a FMS Fanboy. I like it even if it is a copy
I hope you continue this show forever lol, seriously tho I do love this show and look for to watching it every Tuesday when I get home from work. Keep up the good work
Thank's Josh for not throwing in the towel 💯 so i was actually gonna get a 3d printer today and now I wish I would've done so... Man I need to go back and get it before they're all gone...
I've actually had to put my Content Creator card on hold for a while Life's Adventures are Taking Precedence, but Still watching and Playing when I get a chance just without the Cameras...

Glad you decided to keep the SNU alive I've watched all 301 episodes. Appreciate all you do for our hobby. Look forward to episode 302..😀
Heyyyy! Look who’s back. Glad to see it.
Also…the magnetic lights is kinda cool, but makes taking the body off even more work with their release system.
Love the scale news. It's been my favorite from GO.
I am happy to see the scale news is continuing on. I watch TH-cam content quite frequently but this is one show I actually look forward to every week. If it ends some day, I completely understand but until then, i will continue watching. Thanks for your dedication.
Thank you for all the work you put into SNU! The last change I made was I added a bit of RC off-road racing to my RC repertoire. I’ve been loving it! And my race buggy even has a couple 3d printed mods that are working great.
I got overwhelmed with RCs and sold off 90% of my stuff in 2015. It didn’t take long for me to get back on the wagon and try again. I’m also glad you’re off of whatever crack you were on last week. I was half expecting to see an empty space in my TH-cam subscriptions this morning. Thank you for keeping us up to date.
the simplicity of your scale news is really so good. there isn't major graphics, not a lot of extra videos nor editing, just straight forward. kind of like I remember news being news before it became an exaggerated and bias adjective for what's happening in the world. I like your take on what you present. I'm sorry to hear that it does take a lot of time and can certainly feel its weight. I look forward to the next one.
Was a great surprise when I got the SNU notification this morning, thanks!
Tore down my old GCM FJ40 build and am rebuilding it into a 1962 international C120, leaf springs everywhere lol
Last June, I’m now down 80lbs and still working hard, both you and Matt keep me entertained while I’m working out.
Nice! Keep it going bud.
If you are not tired of doing SNU then we are not tired of watching! In my opinion this is the most important work you do for your viewers.
I start my Tuesdays watching scale news update. Hope it keeps on keeping on. I am truly glad I met you in California last summer at axial fest. You my friend are an awesome guy.
I was super happy when I was notified you were here today !!! It’s my lunch time stress relief every Tuesday…
I definitely watch the Scale News Update more than your other videos. The SNU simply has the most useful content in an easy to schedule short program. Your past How-To videos are great too. Friday Night videos conflict with my dinner time; but, they helped maintain my sanity during Covid. Backordered a VRD Carbon Kit from what you revealed today. Thanks for that.
Scale news update one of the few vids I enjoy since it keeps me in the loop
Glad to see you made it back !
Very happy to see another week of SNU. I appreciate the show and your efforts.
With SNU, my Tuesdays are complete. Thank you for another great episode!
Have been busy sice last week with some new shelfing
acks for displaying storing my rc's. And further more thank you soo much for keeping the snu going Josh! 'We' truly need and look forward to it every week!
Thank you for keeping SNU going! I watch it before work every Tuesday. I am very surprised California wasn’t the one who released that bill on the printers first.
I think the police departments there already do such lack luster work that they would just not do the checks. And would stop all the new companies that want to start up there from doing it.
The difference is that California doesn't have an issue where ppl bring stuff in from just a few miles away.
The cities with the strict laws but worst issues have 1 thing in common, which is they're the only place around them with those laws, so ppl just travel a short distance, do their business and bring them back, then will sell them for a markup to ppl that don't want traced, the just say it got stolen or grind off the traceable bits...
The 3d printer thing feels more like they're trying to blame everything else except the actual problems, because those problems require actual effort.
Glad you kept the series going. i am changing up 2 trucks to fit different classes recently and traveling more for comps. Its been awesome seeing different trucks and the way other areas run their comps. I also went back to doing more 1 to 1 stuff working on swapping the automatic from my 70 mach 1 to a 5 speed, fixing a 99 jeep frame and more. Its been nice having variety in what i am working on.
Great product! It’s been part of my Tuesday routine since before Covid! Glad to hear you’re not stopping!
Yesterday, I changed the servo horn on my Granite Grom. The old one stripped out and I put my last spare on. Hopefully it will hold up for the long run. I also changed the wheelie bar wheels on my drag car from stock to the smaller ones. Just to see if it will make a difference on my future passes. Finally, since I got my first Traxxas Boat in my collection (M41), I decided to move some of my cars around my room, and to make more space for future vehicles in my collection.
Last time I changed things up was when I found Santa hanging with my mom all night 🤣🤣🤣 classic
glad the SNU came back made my Tuesday that much better 🤙🏻🍻
I knew you couldn’t stay away, and I’m glad. My Tuesday morning wouldn’t be complete without snu
This is THE ONLY rc show that I make sure to watch as soon as I see it tues mornings
Always enjoy the tuesday mornings with you SNU.
I ordered the FMS 1/10 Blazer. I have a bunch of micro crawlers and 1/18 Capra but had a seriously hard time picking which 1/10 to get. The FCX10 looks like a nice blend of scale, trail, and performance.
With no aftermarket it's kind of gamble but I do have 4 FCX24s in various forms of modified and all have held up great. I also don't see much it will need right out of the box for the kind of driving I plan to do.
I could have gone Traxxas but I'm liking FMS more and more as a brand (I didn't like their earlier 1/18s so I wasn't a fan at first) and I noticed the Traxxas Blazer has body posts still. So I decided to support the little guy.
Glad you’re back this week. I look forward every Tuesday for my scale news update fix. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Hope you keep them rolling in. Love the show.
Thank you for keeping this going, I look forward to it every week
Yay for the news!!!! I would have no idea what comes out without the news.
5 years ago. Went from a sales job to being an electrician. Less stress and better hours. I get time with my family now.
First, and foremost, good to hear you're continuing with the Weekly News Update. Although I i finally realized I don't enjoy "going slow" (with the exception of my SCX24, I sold all my crawlers...incl the C1, C2 & C3 rigs I was in the process of building...approx 6 months ago), I, like countless others, greatly enjoy the info presented each week. There are other channels doing "updates", but none as informative & comedic (always luv his your constantly bag on JConcepts), and none by someone who works in the industry (especially at your level of connectivity).
As for "changes", I have two...one minor, one major. My 'minor' change is one in snack-dab in the middle of, which is building a new desktop (which is my primary video editing system). Instead of just replacing the motherboard (and, possibly, the CPU), I decided it was time for a 'change'...instead of "upgrading", it was time for an entirely new (ok, almost entirely new, as I will be transferring over the RTX 3070 Ti) computer. Unfortunately, this 'change' is going to cost considerably more than just "a little change"...lol
Getting to the 'major' change, is was a serious "life changing" decision - almost 16 months ago, I left my wife, moved to another state, and went to work for a new company. It needed to be done, and we are both better for it (we continue to be friends...I'm probably one of her 5 closest friends). We are both less stressed, which is probably the most important, as well as the healthiest, thing. Nevertheless, it was a major life-changing decision at our ages...she in her upper 60s, me in my upper 50s (and, before anytime even thinks of asking, no, no kids).
Glad to hear those words, Welcome back to the scale news update. Thanks for the effort you put into it. I look forward to it so much.
I appreciate the work that goes into making this every week. One of the few I actually watch till the end.. Keep them going!! Thanks
I’m so happy you continue with this show!! Thanks and I hope see you every week here
Glad Scale News stays. Thanks Bird
Here early Definitely sounds like a California Law. Its only a matter of time befor they outlaw them trying to get rid of the plastic waste
i was off on state but its still not suprising NJ would follow if NY passes it
So I've gotta say this! This is the best channel there is when it comes to news for crawling universe. 🎉
A few years ago when I retired I grew a handlebar moustache for a year or so. Had wax to play with but lost interest in eating it at meal time. As far as the latest changes well it’s constant change on my workbench.
So glad to have you sticking around morning just wouldn't be the same
I’m sure glad to see 301! Thank you!
So glad to see the SNU this morning. Those DSM Off-road parts look awesome, looks like they are getting more of my money.
Glad you are keeping the show going. It would be nice to be able to see your rc collection behind you. Curious as to what you have…
Awesome! Welcome back Josh!! So glad you decided to stay with this platform. It is so beneficial to us your audience and enables us to receive excellent information in an organized and practical layout! Thank you for all that you do to prepare and present these episodes each week. Great stuff!!!
I’m making a big change over to leaf trucks. The Marlin was the first and now I’ve added the Marty McFly, white SR5, red 4Runner, and the yellow 4Runner. Not sure why, but I guess it’s the challenge of making them able to perform.
I’m so glad to hear your keeping SNU going! Thank you!! You are my only RC news outlet!
Glad you're keeping it going for now Josh this really is something I look forward to to get my week going
Good to see another SNU hope they keep coming! I enjoyed the technical section of your blog style video really cool seeing the thoughts and processes you take to create things.
Last major change I did, was to sell my house, it was strangling me, and I just needed to get out from.under it.
Looking forward to the new files!
We sold half our stuff and relocated from Colorado to Vermont...
Glad your back. If you ever stop we will have to go back in time and watch them from the beginning. We know you wouldn't like that.😂 Seriously thanks for keeping this up, this is my favorite thing Tuesday morning.
This is my Tuesday morning first watch during breakfast so glad you are keeping it going .
Yes! With a Monday posting I wasn’t sure if that was taking the place of SNU
Thank you for the SNU. It's the only show I watch lol. Your hard work does not go unappreciated.
Added a few leaf springs to my collection !!
Missed the phoenix portal kits as I’m at work ugggg, thanks so much for keeping it going man
I enjoy the show on my commute to sac. thanks for keeping it live
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I so look forward to your SNU every week as a connection to the hobby I love.
Long time listener, first time caller... Appreciate the show and the work put into it. I enjoy hearing about all the new product releases and news updates. Side not also a big fan on the HPI Venture. Don't understand why but that is one of the best balanced and preforming scale vehicles I have. Will probably buy another if they release a bare chassis or better body option. Stopped driving mine due to being discontinued and worried about parts support. Will have to bring it out of retirement.
I'm glad to see you soldier on with the news it's been great not sure if I missed any of them pretty sure I haven't missed a single one weather I was full in on rc or running from it this has stayed the constant
You’re awesome 🎉 good to see you this morning this series is always great and I hope you find the way to change this so you can enjoy it as much as we do. That way we can have some interesting content and the newcomers are interested to join the hobby with us. you’re the one that helped me get started with this hobby and understand it along with RCSparks, up there Canada(stan)
Love the content. I complately understand being done with something. I would totally respect any decision you come to. Again love the content.
Iam along for the ride and I hope this sticks around
Happy you're back...I was so confused..really look fowared to Tuesday mornings
It's here this week, Woot! Best way to start my work week, Thank you Josh.
Appreciate you taking your time to do the SNU. It's a great show. Keep on kicking rocking Josh. 💪
Thanks for sticking around! I frigin love the SNU!
Much love for staying sir🤟🏼
Thank you for coming back for snu!! I was so excited to see it this week
SNU is the RC content I look forward to the most.
Appreciate the effort you put into it.
Thank you for SNU it’s the number one video I look forward to each week!
thank you josh for the update! I really hope poeple can see this bill is a bad idea on so many level.
Love the videos, specifically the weekly updates. I’ll be here for more of those or however you decide to disseminate the good rc info to us. Thanks for all the hard work.
While I was a late-coming to jump on the SNU, I do appreciate the industry awareness, especially when it comes to the increasing market share. As for “changing it up” , The difficulty for me with crawlers is that I come across so many things, that suddenly inspire build ideas, and having close to 20 crawlers already, its hard to keep adding.. so my coming goal is to try and make some of my rigs multi purpose and support different bodies and looks
I'm glad you're back this week! I'm another person that makes this a part of my Tuesday morning ritual. Criminal background checks for 3D printers seems crazy, but when I first heard about FAA's plan to require drone transponders I thought it was impossible. I can't afford it right now, but I think that a lot of people will buy the FCX10 just because Traxxas has made itself in to the evil empire with its bungled handling of protecting its copyrights. To answer the question of the week: I avoid change at all costs, usually to my detriment.
SWEET!!!! First video this Tuesday morning. Thanks Josh.
Definitely appreciate the Awesome content on SNU all the work and effort you put into the RC hobby Thanks for the videos
Thanks man!!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁👍👍👍 I appreciate all your hard work!!
Rearranging my workshop during Christmas / New Years vacation for better workflow
Glad to hear it, SNU is a must watch for me. Living rural I have few sources of good RC content.
We all couldn’t handle not getting our weekly SNU so glad you chose to continue the show
Thank you for keeping it going! 🤩
Rock on! Love the scale news!!! Thank you for all you do!!
Great show! 🙌 loved the RC- day video! Keep it up please 🙏
So glad your back!
Cheers, Josh! 🎉‼
Still support you taking care of you. But I do look forward to Tuesdays for one reason!
Changes I've been playing with lately have been removing weight from the back of my rigs and making rear tires stiffer than fronts. Both of which are things I've heard talked about as performance helpers. So I'm trying each with a few rigs and seeing what works for me or if I notice a difference between one or the other or both.
Sweeet you made it back Josh thanks again
