What is my personality type? I did one of these tests a couple of years ago but when I think back to my mindset and attitude towards life then, I feel like in many ways I was a different person.. So I'm doing the test again!

You and Joel analyze, compare and contrast American English vs. British English. It is impressive how interested you and Joel are in learning about us over here. I've done the Myers-Briggs several times, so this wasn't entirely surprising, but I got INFJ, which this test calls the "Advocate" personality. Just based on them calling it "Advocate," and placing it in a subcategory called "Diplomats," I instantly thought it would be totally off-base, since I can't see myself fitting anything that would be described by either of those words, but the further I read in the results, the more I felt like it actually fits me perfectly.
I'm usually thrown by personality tests that suggest roles or career paths for me like nurse, counselor, or care-giver, since I'm absolutely *not* the right kind of person for any of those roles (they imply a kind of selflessness and devotion to the service of others that definitely doesn't fit me at all), but this test actually goes into a lot more detail than the one or two paragraphs you usually get, and its description of the INFJ type is actually uncannily fitting for me.
I often flip between INFJ and INTJ, since my Thinking/Feeling results land almost exactly in the middle of the spectrum, so I went and looked at this test's description of INTJ, which it calls the "Architect." That description also fits me pretty well, though not quite as well as INFJ, but just to give you an idea of why the whole nurse/counselor/mediator/caregiver thing always seems so totally off-base when applied to me, the description of INTJ - which I also fit quite well and often fall into depending on when I take the test - basically describes Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. :-P

I took one of those tests many years ago when my husband walked out and left me with two children to raise. The test I took matched my personality to different professions. The first job it matched me to was funeral director. I almost fell on the floor laughing over that one. The second one was entertainer. That I had been doing off and on over the years but I wasn't making enough to take care of my children. I decided on the third option. It was teaching special needs students. I was surprised at how much I loved it! It also put me in a position where I could still occasionally pick up some entertainment gigs. I wish you, your boyfriend, and Joel a blessed Easter holiday.
Ok, so I subsribe to yours and Joel's channels separately and, of course, to the Joel & Lia channel itself. This may seem strange, but I find the combined channel entertaining and delightful, while I find the separate channels intriguing. I don't know why - I just do. Good video.

This was fun! My husband (of 25 years) and I both took it. I was an Adventurer and he was an executive! Well they say opposites attract and after 25 years the attraction is still there so we must be doing something right huh? Live your channel and Joel's and LOVE Joel and Lia!

Lia, Life is what happens when we are busy planning LOL. I think it’s good to have motivation to inspire you to grow and learn but I believe you really miss out on the fun if you micromanage your life and don’t allow for spontaneity. It’s an adventure! Great video! Love you! Karen XO❤️

I got the same result. I'm not a nurse but if there's a crisis with anyone, guess who they turn to first? I take that as a good thing. It makes me feel good to help people. I think ISFJs have a talent to take an analytical look at a problem, break it down and figure out all the steps you need to take to solve it. P.S. thanks for being a nurse. God bless them. Doctors rush in and out and leave you without enough information (I have a phobia at this point) but nurses will patiently explain exactly what's going on and reassure you. You're angels.

I did the test last November. My result: Virtuoso, ISTP-A/ISTP-T. Which is the same as Indiana Jones, James Bond & John McClane (think Die Hard movies), they tell me. Fun read!

INFJ-A /INFJ-T Advocate.... Every single personality test I've taken over the years including the Meyers Briggs and this one that you just did comes up INFJ for my personality. So I must REALLY be a strong one haha.
Logician. 93% introvert. All other areas were almost even 50%/50% split. Makes sense. I'm easy to get along with as long as I'm by myself.

I totally agree with you on goals and being sidetracked. Some of the most amazing moments in my life have been due to getting sidetracked. I would have been farther along in my career earlier if that hadn’t happened but I have had an amazing life and accomplished some really cool things.

That was fun, I took the test and it said I am a Campaigner ENFP-A. Yes, that sounds right, much of what is said was spot on. But I remember taking one years ago and it says I was an ENTP.

I got ESFP-A my results are the same as yours only I'm the Entertainer A category. I'm not an Actor or anything like that I'm a nurse. But my whole life I was told I would be a good actress lol. Personality traits are fluid . Like being right or left handed . You can do both, but typically one will come more natural. Your letters are what is more natural for you, As we age , we hopefully become a more rounded person and become familiar with both sides. :) No type is good or bad , just how we view the world. Infj here.

I didn't take the test, but answered them as she answered them. Lia is 80% opposite of me. Maybe that is why I watch people like her on TH-cam. Living vicariously through the opposite personality type.

I have found that I experienced more FOMO when I lived closer to the people I hung out with but when I moved away it was easier to cope with because I know it’s physically impossible for me to actually do something with them

I am INFJ-T (Advocate), I am apparently one of the rarest types in that only 1-3% of people are like me. It makes sense because I often feel like I am not the "norm" but it really is pretty spot on right.

I thought my personality changed over time too, but I had to take MBTI for work this year and I’m still ENFJ (same as I got in college 13 years ago!).
I’m an ISFP which I’ve seen labeled as both The Artist or the Adventurer, but I think either fit. We’re almost the same!
Hi Lia! There's an excellent book that has a good extensive description of all of the types as well as the full test, available on Amazon. It's "Please Understand Me", and is worth checking out and having a copy around! Good luck! Love your videos! I have a suggestion for you and Joel to try that might be fun. There's a test that is a series of ambiguous pictures that reveal a lot about your personality that I know you'd have fun using in videos for video ideas. It's called a thematic apperception test (TAT), also available on Amazon. Trust me, it's very cool and you'd find it interesting and a good basis for some interesting videos! I'm an INTJ myself.
Lia, you DO change as you get older. I was an ENFP back in the 80s when I started college. Today I am an INFJ, the rarest of the bunch. I went to dreammoods.com and found that seeing aluminum foil in your dream and it said, "what may seem insignificant to others is important to you" and Legs in a dream means, "you have regained confidence to stand up and take control". So cool, the personality tests. I've taken all of them throughout the years. That was fun!! =)

I got Defender ISJF-T. Some of the strengths and weaknesses they listed were right on, but others were way off. Two problems with these types of tests are 1) the way we perceive ourselves is often incorrect, so our answers may be inaccurate, and 2) we change as we get older. I certainly had a very detailed education plan when I was starting college, for example, but not now, at age 70. Have a Happy Easter.
Usually I get INFJ. Today I got INFP. In college, we had to take this at the beginning of our first year and at the end of our fourth year. Every letter of mine changed in 4 years. Lol. Now I’m back to my OS - Original Self 😂
