What if you lost everything?
That's a scary thought. But the truth is, almost everything can be taken from us.
The early Christians were crazy in the best way. It says in Hebrews 10, "...and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one" (vs.34)
The only way that they were able to JOYFULLY accept the taking of their things was because they KNEW that they had the best thing in the universe, Jesus Himself.
We will likely lose all kinds of things in this life. But ask Christ followers we too can joyfully accept our loses because sin and death can do their worst, but Jesus, the best thing in the universe, can NEVER be taken from us.
