@@GalaxyGeeksIt’s kinda why a car needs pistons. The gas inside the piston is compressed, causing that chemical reaction, causing it to combust, then it compresses it again to let it out of the exhaust pipe, then it repeats to keep the motor turning.
For those who criticize Lightning being able to beat a formula car, look at it this way: all the racers that participated likely only race with left turns and most, not on dirt. Because Lightning is so used to multiple environments, he can beat Franchesco on these set of tracks.
Doc's voice actor, Paul Newman, died sometime after the release of the first Cars film. So, instead of recasting him, they decided to have Doc pass away between Cars 1 and Cars 2. And yeah, one of the reasons Cars 2 receives a lot of hate is because the focus is shifted away from McQueen and the races and towards Mater and spy crap.
It's not spy crap. The original movie was supposed to be about Lightning's world race. It just wasn't long enough for a full movie so they added the Mater's tall tales story line.

The way I figured out it was Axlerod was actually from the rear view mirrors. Axlerod has distinct black square mirrors, and if you look closely in the background of the Lemon conference video you can see those exact same mirrors.

Thus, wrenches from America and other countries outside of England don't work on them, and they are mainly used in machines made in England. They foreshadowed Sir Axelrod because he is a British car.

I’ll be brutally honest I really do miss the racing characters from cars two just if it wasn’t for the spy stuff. I think it would be a whole lot better movie. I do hope that they do bring Francesco back from cars on the road or something because he’s a very likable character.

I think the big problem is the movie feels less like a sequel and more like an off shoot. Disney was doing a lot of shorts with Tomator at the time, and this is more like a movie to that.

It seems like you guys missed the ending credits to Cars 1. It showed them opening back up the Wheel Well and showed Route 66 back on the map and a highway sign being added that said “Radiator Springs”. It also showed the 4 cars that messed with Mack getting impounded and they also had to fix a road 😅
It’s pretty upsetting because people said that this was supposed to be the ending of the Cars franchise but when I think when this movie got about a few hundred million cash and started a production on Cars 3 but idk if Pixar will Make Cars 4 but I hope My favorite franchise will come back to our screens once again but yeah if you guys wanna see the series called Cars on the road it’s pretty good Maters tall tales and Cars shorts they’re all good and mater and the ghostlight it’s funny the Cars franchise will always be up forever 💪

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I think this movie was almost as good as the first one. I just don’t understand why people knock it so much for being different than the first. The movies are called “Cars,” not “Racing.” It never had to be like the first, and I don’t think it should be have been. To have made another movie that was so similar to the first would have been a really weak and boring movie. Also, it’s not like racing and lightning McQueen weren’t major parts of the second movie. I don’t know, it just seems like people had their own personal expectations for Cars 2, which, while fine, doesn’t mean that’s what the movie SHOULD have been. It’s sad to me that this really great movie got so much hate, just because it was not what people expected. I can’t imagine what that would feel like for all the people who worked hard to make it. I know John Lasseter really loved and put a lot of thought into this story, only to have most of it overlooked. I feel bad for him.

The cars series is one of those movies that I didn't really enjoy as a kid, but absolutely do as an adult.
