Awwww Ty - wow . Such a powerful story when you talked about getting back into music and then hearing you play!! 😭😭😭 Its like you have all these skills from pre-stroke that are chillin - just waiting to be unlocked again one day. It goes to show we have knowledge in our whole bodies along with our brains. I always loved when you played River by Leon Bridges.. also maybe try to play one of your originals? The one you wrote about Candice? So excited for you on your journey back to a new normal! P.S. I teared up from this video so Candice is allowed a full blow ugly cry 😆
Um Ty.. I can't believe you played a whole song! Was not expecting that, I just watched in awe. You should be so proud of yourself. Very interesting too about feeling foggy and jumbled with chords and then it all clicked. Just had to rev up that part of your brain again, I'm glad your therapist made you play. Two of my favorite songs you always used to play are Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning and Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy. Those were some of the first songs I've ever heard you perform on Mixer and I instantly loved them. Keep it up! Loving these updates.
