When I grow up I want a room just like yours! :) Great idea about keeping the spray can tops in a bag so you know what you need. I'm gonna start doing that. Thanks for the idea!
That's the best setup you ever had. And now you've got a great backdrop for your videos. You are going to love that "Arm" fir your overhead shots. We will, too. 😃👍
Figured the missing tile was a trap door lol. Nice update on the room. I'm always rearranging.. First to comment, yes! I should be working, but it's 2 deg outside feeling lazy..
@@kregskorner8851 hi Kreg! LOL, that tile makes me want to redo the whole floor! 2 Degrees?!?? Good gosh! Hopefully holding your phone and watching videos keeps your hands warm!! 😁
Mr. BG thank you for such great content. It is always refreshing to reorganize and have a fresh start. Thank you for sharing your stash shelves, you have some awesome kits. One in particular that I really liked was a Chevy Chevette kit that you have, That’s killer that someone actually molded those kits. I had a Chevette when I was in High School and LOVED that car (and beat the world out of it). Again thank you for sharing.
Making great use of a not so very large space! Have me thinking, i recently did a cleaning. But could always do more. Great idea, saving the paint can caps! Steeling that idea.
Next time I hear Lisa say I have too many kits, I'm going to rewatch this video and say see....🤣I thought that was your #1fan.🤣I'm thinking of rearranging things a bit. Thanks for the tour, BG.👍✌
Great setup! Love the IKEA furniture. I have a few myself. I just acquired a display case from them. You give me some ideas on how to organize my spray paint. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Alan! Awesome!!I feel Ikea is perfect for figuring out how to maximize small spaces!! Nice!! I like the display cabinets! Been meaning to get one for years now! 😁
The shop looks great Bryan! I had a 1:1 66' Corvair Corsa when I was young. I wish I still had that one! Maybe you could use some UV tint on your window to protect your models and still get some light. 😎👍
Hi Mike! Oh sweet! Like the later body styles best.y dad had a 66 four door, my sister had a 65 and I shared a 68 convertible 140! 😁 Great idea about the window tint! I may try that! Thank you
Hi Bryan. Looks like a terrific set up. Some very cool kits nicely arranged. I wish I could use shelving like that for my stash, but it would take up an entire room itself. And it continues to grow more and more. I'm running out of space in my secondary room. 🤪
Hi Vince! I feel like the shelves are a blessing and a curse! Being able to have that much stuff on a rack is great! But then again.....I have that much stuff on the rack!!! 😁
Great setup BG, I envy your non-carpet floor! If I drop anything it's probably gone, at least you have a slightly better chance lol. Sweet Subaru flag too!
Thank you Eliot!! I find my dropped parts by echolocation these days! Lol. The subaru flag was a sweet Christmas gift from my nephew! I had to hang it in the hobby room!
I like your shop layout! I have a similar paint exhaust set up through my garage window. It can be somewhat inconvenient. Yes, I know I can leave the spacing board/exhaust port in the window, but I chose not to do so at this time. I'm trying to figure out a pleasingly esthetic design so as not to distract from the house. I'm gonna steal your spray lid 'resupply' idea!
I hear you my friend! It can be overwhelming! A trick I learned from my dad was the graph paper deal. Really helps me visualize how the layout of the room can be. Just need to measure all the furniture involved and cut them out like paper dolls.
Sometimes there's a need to rearrange for ergonomics. I never take my window connector/gap filler out of the window. It's in place all the time. I need to figure out a better storage arrangement for my PE and 3D accessories. I want a shop card! Peace and love.
Hi TJ! I still move the filler piece out of the window because that window is in the front of the house and I am always concerned about someone trying to push it through and get in the house. Sure thing, I would be happy to send you a ship card! I will place my email in the description below! BG
