I was trying a Phoenix Force deck since I don't have a Loki. The destroy/move blend creates really good odds when they steal your cards, very rarely do they end up with carnage/venom, multiple men, and phoenix force + move is so difficult archetype and many players don't know what to do with the cards anyway. I haven't played it that much, so I am not super sure how this deck is strong, but so far it worked great for me.
I weirdly like that Lokis effect on the game is thematic. This is an early season of madness and trickery. And now cerebro and living tribunal are good decks in the loki meta
@@KMGEmperor i feel like they know he's busted, proof of that is they are releasing his direct counter (Mobius) on the same season, something they never did with previous pass cards, and that says alot, but hey, gotta milk their players first before that happens ;)

I kid you not i was able to play a 2 cost iron man in a match. And red skull + taskmaster on turn 6 in another match. Loki + quinjet is actually broken and they definitely did it on purpose to boost the season pass sales. Watch them nerf loki shortly before the sp ends or after it.
I love to try playing the anti-meta game. This season is difficult and the deck is everywhere (so nerfs should be swift to save the, once healthy, Meta). I'm trying: Dr Octopus, Storm, Sentry + Viper, Atuma, Cosmo+ Mystique, Professor X (as you said) and Shang Chi all seem to help. I have put them all with Thanos, America Chavez and Psyloke.
I use Loki as a turn 6 play. Just to boost The Collector. I use it in a classic Dino deck. I usually don't care if the cards in the opponent's deck are good or bad. Never use them xD
You just need to adjust to playing synergy decks to beat Loki. Good cards decks are finally being countered with a bad matchup. I actually like the change to the meta Loki has brought.
First impression: So... the ultimate counter to Loki is Loki? Seems balanced. /edit: If deliberately "bad" cards is a counter, why not just play Mr. Negative?
What I don't get is: Both Loki and Coulson cost 3. Loki has MORE power than him. Implying his ability is theoretically worse - how can that possibly be true. Nick Fury and Loki have the same power. Loki costs 1 less. How can anyone ever think Loki's ability is worse?
I've played every counter deck i thought and i still couldn't beat a 20 power collector and a player playing a deck that's just like mine but with all cards cost 1-2 less. This deck might be ok on ladder, but lose to anything that isn't Agatha, and not playable on conquest, opponent will just not play Loki.

Lol what I notice playing that move/destroy is that very rarely do I end up with that combo either. When I do; it’s instant snap.

I have been trying Loki with wasp, yellow jacket, Kang, Destroyer for the same anti synergy reasons. Along with the create cards

Cerebro 3 works well. Lots of cards to counter. If you don't have valk they have no way of using cerebro
Cerebro 2/3, living tribunal and hela decks are extremely good against loki decks.
