Respect to the boys for giving something special to the two winners. Now, thats the way its done eventhough both appeared a little too normal throughout lol.
Good video and looks like a great day out for the winners. The issue with the SIA is the standard is extremely low (certainly for CP). To gain a base level understanding you need several weeks quality trg with experienced and importantly current and competent instructors. The trg must be mission specific. No use doing 2, 3 or 4 weeks trg if your working abroad in a hostile environment with weapons as you will need far longer than that to become efficient and not be a danger to your Principle, team or yourself. If the failure rate of a course is very low ( ie almost everyone passes) I would question its suitability.
@@pritpalsehmi3053 in now days is so easy to get a job on security. You only need DBS chec, clean criminal record, 5 years employment history, 5 years address history and a few other usual documents. Just make sure to negotiate your rates because many employers now days only want to pay £9 or £10 per hour, and that's really bad for someone who just spent £300 on a license..
Do you require a driving licence? I work in high level of security that could cause the whole country to be shut down if terrorist managed to get through. I have experience working in a medium to high risk mental health prison where there's people like Charlie Bronson and I've also done Community Safety and security in hospitals. I can't give too much on my current role as it's high risk to terrorism. I am 23 years old have adhd and I've got 3 years of high level security experience.
I have four years experience within the security industry and am considering doing my CP license, do I need prior military experience to get a job in Close protection
you obviously get dropped of the course, probably refunded, if they see youre not experienced or start giggling and distracting the class. Its for proffesionals only. The problem is SIAs guidelines not getlicensed. Even for door supervisors, theres 5 days theory and practical course but that stuff should take like 3 weeks to learn it all, absorbs, practice the skills a lot of times. Its the SIA thats a little cramped, obviously this ain't UFC MMA. If you want to learn to fight thats not the purpose of the SIAuthority. They are more in the industry to protect lives, ensuring their licensed people aren't criminals, or violent socyopaths, they dont infringe the liberty of civilians by going around and arresting everyone thinking they are police, they dont beat up deaf or mute people thinking they are drunk bastards, they dont kill people with "accidental" positional asphynxia, etc...
Please stay safe And don't get caught And don't get angry And don't get arrested And put in jail or prison because of course that would not be a Good thing for you to do And thats The Truth of The matter of fact.
@@getlicensed thanks mate, I'm only just 18, but I'm joining the army for a good amount of years after I sit my exams for collage, then after the army I will be going into close protection.

Hi, it would be a good idea to have your drivers licence as some roles / tasks may require you to drive a client somewhere safely.
I have four years experience within the security industry and am considering doing my CP license, do I need prior military experience to get a job in Close protection
Hi Simon, no military experience is not necessary for your Close Protection licence.

does joining the army or having military experience help you get better clients or a higher wage in the close protection industry?
