Wow, what a well-made video that brought back many memories. I was a final test technician for Texas Instruments from 1968 - 1981 and I maintained the "HSM" IC testers that allowed TI to gain IC market-dominance. I did a two year plant start-up in El Salvador and I spent two years in England doing "HSM" final check-out. What a flood of memories you gave me. Thanks a million.
Always good to see videos about the 74 series. The Lego bricks of electronics!
... and their good pals / arch enemies.... the 40 series. :)
Such an enjoyable video, and great to see the time taken to show the circuit and breadboad layout in detail so we can emulate it. Thank you, I can't wait to go through your other content 🙂
I've often thought that it'd be easier to say 74-bluuu-191 so you don't need to say 74-LS-HC-HCT-whatever-191 ;)
Thank you Sir, great apprauch. V informative.
Excellent video. Really enjoy the electronics instruction.
thanks Bill!
Nice one again, Bill! 😁
enjoyed the video thank you
The still pic in the starting seconds evolved to a moving pic 😮
Nice video. Good explanation. I think I see (around 9 mins in) that the pre-loaded value is not sticky, once the count-up gets to 15 it re-starts at 0. I don't think there is enough time (clock -pulses) to use the carry-bit to re-trigger the set-up of the pre-loaded value. Any other opinions ?
